I found it hilarious at how Lex "solved" the mystery of Professor Fine. He was so confident that he knows Fine is a secret FBI or CIA agent or something. I wonder how he will react when he finds out the truth about him (maybe in the last two episodes of the season). I'm sure Brainiac thought, "wow, this guy is a real idiot".

When Brainiac said, "That breadcrumb you found on your own"... Is Brainiac saying, "I did not leave that one, you are wrong?"

I thought Brainiac was making a snide remark about Lex when he said that. At first it seemed as if he was worried Lex really knew who he was, but then realized that Lex was just following the trail he had left for him.

^^ was my impression also; however I could see jimmyolsenblues comment also. Either way, Brainiac was ready to "puncture" Lex if he needed to and then retracted when the comment was made.

I didn't expect Brainiac's disguse to be a government agent. That one came completely out of left field.
