How many people have found out about Clark's secret?? He has been telling RANDOM chicks his secret (alicia, kyla, "kara") and now he says he can't tell Lana b/c he can't protect her?

HE'S F'N SUPERMAN.

the writers are doing a POOR job with the whole Clana thing. It doesn't make any sense. It would make more sense if they killed her off.

I'm so mad right now. Hypnotic SUCKED.

And I never rip any of the episodes like this. Ever.

Look what happened to all of the random chicks that he told. They all ended up dead. Clark's worried that the same thing is going to happen to Lana if he tells her.

And to him, the same thing DID HAPPEN in Reckoning. All the more reason in his warped way of thinking. Is he noticing Chloe (the only one of the bunch) with any brains, is alive? And well?

If Lana were smarter and not full of it as seen when shes at Lex's Clark would have told her way before now. Chloe knew there was something with Clark way before she had proof and yet shes always under appreciated but atleast shes alive. Lana always gets into trouble and Chloe use to but got smarter , Lana has gotten dumber in that she can't put two and two together to think maybe Clark is atleast a meteor freak , even Lois knows something is different about him. The end of Clana has been long over due but now has come. Clark's moving toward the future not staying in a rut anymore unless the writers screw a good thing up (like Clark crawling back to Lana after so many admirers and 2 boyfriends, one who she took to get away from Clark in the first place AKA Jason) hopefully Clark has the sense to move foreward.

I agree completely. It's gettting really lame. In the comics Lana knows right? I'm pretty sure about that. We also know they do breakup of course but every other week is really overdoing it.
It's sickening.

You wouldn't fear death cause you'd probably be dead by now.

everyone that clark tells, has been because of some situation. even pete learns it just because clark couldn't lie to his face that he didn't take the space ship (i want it back just as much as you do, because it really IS mine)

even in the episodes where lana finds out, she was in some possession of spirit. same with chloe.

if you really think about it, the only time Clark willingly told anyone was a few episodes ago when he told Lana, and even that was erased by a time warp.

everyone else either found out by accident (Alicia, Pete, Kyle, memory erasing guy) or as a byproduct of their power or the influence of some power (Lana, Chloe, Ryan)

oh i forgot, the latest craze in this season is to show your power to other super beings. So Cyborg and Aquaman easily witnessed him doing super deeds without his trying to hide it.

Right, It's not like Clark goes around telling everyone because he wants to...Something comes up where he has no choice but to reveal the secret to them.

If Clark felt like he could have told Lana he would not have hesitated...Plus you have to factor in the fact that he feels like she will hold him responsible for killing her parents and he doesn't want that.

I can understand somewhat why Clark doesn't tell her. As I said in the past, the secret is not what solely killed her in Reckoning, it was her association with Lex. In both timelines, she went to Lex's and he followed her like a madman causing an accident in 1 case and would have caused it again in the next case had Clark not known and been able to get there in time. Now if I were Clark, I would consider her as a liability and cut my losses. There's no way someone that close to Lex can be trusted. I'm not saying she would willingly betray him, I'm saying that any sign Lex would get of her knowing CK's secret would spell huge trouble for Clark and put Lana's life (and possibly the Kent's) in jeopardy. She would have to distance herself from Lex in such a way that Lex doesn't care about her anymore for it to be safe to tell her. And something like this will have to involve Clark exposing Lex to the wide public of who he really is.

I think this would be a great way for TPTB to split Lana from Lex, to start Clark's journalism career, and to get Clark to finally reveal the secret to Lana.
