I don't know if somebody already made a thread for this, but I wanted to know what happened towards the end after Simone's pearl thingie got blasted. She just laid there unconscious and that's it. I don't remember them explaining what happened to her after that. I mean, she STILL knows Clark's secret, and she can quite possibly blackmail him the same way Lex was doing to her.

If you look closely she has a bullet hole in her upper chest/lower neck area. I assume she is dead. A plothole for me is just another dead body in Lex's house.

A bullet in the chest says she won't blackmail anyone and she won't go very far. ;)

So could her necklace still work?

No, it got shattered by the bullet and still went through Simone, killing her.

I doubt it was made of kryptonite at all, if it was Clark would have gotten sick every time he got near her.

But remember, not all kryptonite makes Clark feel sick- just Green K. The combination of redK and Green K hypnotized Clark in some way. What I don't understand though, is how other people were affected by the Kryptonite in the same way as Clark (maybe it really wasn't K).

It was an ancient stone from an alchemist in Europe. I don't think it was Kryptonite. And the stone was blue -- I don't remember what blue Kryptonite does, but I think they would have made more of it if they had used it.

Either way, she's one dead woman!

The necklace might have been laced with magical influence-how else do you explain it working on Clark?

Blue Kryptonite harms Bizarro creatures.
We can't rule the possibility of the stone being connected to kryptonite. We know that kryptonite existed long before the meteor shower so it shouldn't be a shock.
My theory is that the necklace has some connection with Isobel. Maybe it was crafted through her kryptonian magic.

That's the one thing I simply cannot forgive SV for! Kryptonite was created when the planet EXPLODED!
