After the Hypnotism wore off, he should of known/remembered that Lex had detailed information about Simone? Wouldn't Clark be a little suspicious about and start putting the pieces together?

Girl hypnotizes clark.

Lex, who has a history of "investigating" Clark just happens to know a whole lot about girl.

Hello? Do the writers insist on making Clark out to be a complete moron every episode? It seems these guys are writing the script for these episodes at the end of their lunch breaks.

hey I never thought about this and now hm... you are right.
I'm starting to think that these writers don't care so much about this show but the money they get. It sux when there are more and more 'mistakes' each episode.

Welcome to the storylines of Smallville....nobody ever remembers from clues they give us....besides now more than ever I believe CLARK IS AN IDIOT!

I was more interested in why Simone didn't tell Lex what she found out about Clark.
From her interaction with him, she knew about his speed and strength (I think that was about it).
Why didn't she tell Lex when he asked her about it later when she was at the mansion? Did she develop a real liking for Clark or was she just trying to get Lex off the path so she could use Clark against him?

I actually thought that Simone liked Clark enough to protect him. However, she also liked knowing she could use Clark against Lex.

I wasn't so bothered by Clark not realizing Lex was involved because his mind was elsewhere, but I found it more interesting that Chloe didn't key in on it. From her perspective, not being hypnotized, she should have seen it clearer and that disappointed me.

I think you're right that Simone liked him and decided she could turn the cards on Lex by using Clark to her advantage.
Yeah, I guess Chloe should have put the pieces together to know that Lex was involved, but I think at the time, she was more worried about figuring out what was wrong with Clark and finding a way to stop it.

Actually, I'm glad he DIDN'T suspect Lex. He's put Lex behind every operation that happens to him or a friend... well, Lex is usually behind all of them, but I think it would have been a bit boring if Clark would have confronted Lex AGAIN. You know? That's what I think.

That also gets me that Chloe hadn't pieced together and or focused on the reason Lex was involved with the whole thing...she is usually the one with the most investigative and logical mind.

And THEN there's Clark... well Clark if you remember all the "gory details" why didn't you piece this one together... or try to at least

Simple ... Simone did not tell Clark to think that Lex was involved.

The thing that I didn't like about this episode (which I actually enjoyed more than most give it credit for) was that they revealed Lex was the mastermind behind it very early...Uusually when Lex is behind something they wait until the end of the episode or towards the end to reveal that he was the one behind all of it... Granted we all knew anyway, but that's not the point...

It got rid of the mild suspense element we usually get.

yes obviously...but if clark remembers says he remembers the "gory details" or even when he woke up on the ground from his hypnosis in Lex's mansion after all the choas...logically one would think about why they were there, and what part Lex had...one would investigate..especially those two (Clark and Chloe).

I know how they move on for a new ep, but it would be nice if Chloe were to just mention to Clark that Lex was involved somehow.

I just thought of something. Clark seemed to remember everything that he did while he was being hypnotized, so he would remember Lex saying, "you're being hypnotized, Clark!" So shouldn't that give him a clue that Lex was behind it, considering there was no way for Lex to know that Clark was hypnotized if he hadn't been involved in it?

I for one was shocked when Clark made the S shape with the baseball bat. S for simone he says. The guy is more intelligent than I thought :p
