Have the cows finaly learned how to feed themselves?
Or is Shelby outside with a wrench in his mouth fixing the tractors?
Maybe that is where Lionel was this week. He was bailing the hay.
Seriouslt who is taking care of that farm because I dont think Martha and Clark are

I think Clark is taking care of the farm. He was moving some canisters tonight so I bet he just does everything at super speed.

Pa Kent sold the back 40 to pay back Lionel the funds for senatorship. Don't know how much "farm" that leaves left. Besides, the lead of this show could take care of that stuff in half an hour of his day, really... and that's at the longest.

I think the cows have finally learned to milk themselves and Shelby is finally earning his keep lol.
However it is that they are taking care of that place I wish I knew their secret, cause somedays I could use a little help :)

Jon: OH MY GOD! CLARK, COME QUICK
Clark: Yes, Dad?
Jon: The...the...the cows are feeding themselves!
Lex: I did that. I threatened them, I told them either they feed themselves, or they turn into somebody's hamburger. Simple, really.

Well cows eat grass don't they? Being Kansas I am sure there is enough grass for them to eat until they pass out from over eating.
Where I come from, we don't get grass, so those poor cows would starve to death. :D

I dont remember how or why or whenI just remeber the 'Clark the cows wont feed themselves' line became popular when making fun with Jonathan.

Lionel didn't take the back 40. He said that he called off the debt back in "Vengeance".

But Pa Kent has already sol the back 40. He had the check in his lovely little hand and he handed it to Lois, I think.
Clark did think about putting a tarp over something. He mentioned it at the table in the Talon scene. Maybe he's using the tarp to suffocate the cows so he doesn't have to feed them when the grass is gone.

Its just a tv show. Real questions like making a living and using the bathroom actually never come up.

I happened to love this topic of conversation just because it's different :)
Taking care of the farm usually doesn't come into play unless it's part of a conflict, so apparently, we're not supposed to care about those details...Heh.
Seriously, I'm with you guys who think Clark has been doing lots of the work at superspeed.

I was just trying to think of something different to talk about. In early seasons one of the main problems was taking care of the farm and in season 4 and now when there are less people who are helping and more accidents going on (mostly with Jonathan being in a coma or getting shot and stuff like that in season 4) Now its like they dont have any type of problem. Is Martha's check from the Talon that good?
I know it is nitpicking but its just something that I cant help but notice.

I think JK locked up Jason Teague as a slave and he is doing the dirty work now that JK is gone.

And maybe Henry Small, Lucas Luthor, Aunt Nell, and Gabe Sullivan are also locked up as well.
JK: You'll leave over my dead body, hell, not even then, muuuaaahahahahahaha!!!

It's a TV show....I highly doubt there's even a farm to take care of. But if we're just talking hypothetically, I'm betting Lionel has become Martha's love slave lol.

Exactly, how fun would it be to watch people take care a of a farm each week?

I guess Clark is taking care of things.
By the way, did Clark quit school after "Reckoning?" If he did, he would have a lot of free time to take care of the farm.

I am with the first post, Shelby is handling it all by himself. I wish my puppy would do that. ;)
Maybe they have enslaved all of the FotWs to help Shelby, and they are working on the farm. With all of their powers, it wouldn't take long. :D I bet Lex helped the Kent's brain wash them... ;)

For those talking about the back 40...The Kents got that back in Vengeance as someone said before...
Clark did "take the semester off" to get the farm up and going. My guess is with the money Martha will be making as a Senator they will either get out of the farming business and just keep the property (since it was really JK's passion anyway) or hire on some farmhands. But right now Clark is taking care of the farm (see Vengeance, again, where he is working on the tractor and complaining because he isn't as good at it as JK).
