Saving it for when she really needs it? if she loves clark for everything then she would know better to keep something that will cause pain to clark.
Chloe has needs. I've read fics where she uses Kryptonite to her advantage. ;)

Well sometimes Clark is a BDA and he needs alittle Kryptonite upside the head.

Considering the number of times Clark has been on Redk or SilverK I thought it was pretty damn smart for her to have some kryptonite on hand in case of an emergency.
She has it 'cuz she's one smart chick. If I were, I'd have it everywhere... I'd carry a special can of K mace w/ me & keep a green ring hidden away -- just in case. Considering the number of times Clark has gone crazy... well, she'd be a fool not have chunks of it handy at any time.

I agree but I think its alittle weird that she had it in her desk drawer at the DP.

What happens if Clark finds out about her keeping Kryptonite. you all know what happened with him and Lex when he found out.
also i kinda laughed when Chloe just threw that kryptonite down the hall in Lex's house. GJ Chloe, give more meteor rocks to Lex Luthor!

Not really; when Clark was on SilverK he came to see her at DP, also if he's on something like that, it's one of the most likely places he'd find her or she'd be at when she figured or found out he's on something. Thus it's easy for her to get if she needs to defend herself or run off to save someone.

Lex had a huge display of kryptonite in his Clark room along with all sorts of other things he'd been researching about Clark. That's a totally different scenario than Chloe just keeping a lump of greenk on hand just in case of an emergency. Remember, Jonathan and Martha have also been shown to keep some kryptonite on hand too.

Considering what Clark is capable of on redk, switching bodies and silverk just like the Kents they kept it as a precaution. Heck everyone should have one :\.

Even Batman keeps some (I guess, rather, will, as Batman doesn't exist yet...) :)

Attitudejc - I just LOVE your avi there. Man, that's the first one I've seen from Tomb where it instantly takes me back to my all time favorite episode (Shattered). *shivers* Shattered was so freaky and creepy and good. Great avi there.

Yeah I dont blame her for keeping Kryptonite around and I doubt Clark really would say anything about it. Martha and Jonathan had some around for those times when they needed it. Clark is dangerous hen he is not in control of himself. He knows this and just imagine what would happen all them times that someone has stoped him with Kryptonite if they werent able to stop him?
Poor Jonathan might of died sooner if Chloe hadnt shown up in Splinter with a piece of kryptonite.

It was actually good to see Chloe taking it upon herself to get out the kryptonite because that shows she's learned from other experiences.
She knew right off the bat (when Lois told her about Clark's behavior with Simone) that something was off about Clark, so she prepared herself with the one thing she figured would work.
I mean, the Kents had kryptonite stored up in the house, didn't they? Why wouldn't Chloe, his best friend, have some as well, for the "just in case" factor?
I think after "Splinter", she realized how important those meteor rocks are, and of course, later on, it proved to save a few lives.
Good for Chloe to put things together and take action!

Chloe was being her usual smart self. She saved Clark once again from doing something stupid. Believe me, if I was her, I would have some kryp everywhere I go considering how many times Clark has gone crazy.

Seems to me that Kryptonite on this show is just way too readily available for anyone to get a hold of...

This is Smallville after, where not one but two K-meteor showers happened. Kryptonite is not rare.

So why did she keep the red-K ring? Can't see much use for that.

My question is: What happened to the Kryptonite after Chloe took it out of Clark's pocket? It appeared to me that she just tossed it aside.

she probably picked it up later. shes not that stupid to just leave it there for lex to see.
