totally agree although i think on best list you should also have hidden and mortal was my favorite episode this season. i think hypnotic was the worst this season though, break up of clana had no class and sucked, had no action, and had the same concept as episode 2 of season 2 where the girl had increased phermones or w/e they are called and could get anybody to do what she wanted.

the best episode of smallville for me would be mortal only because thewre is no angst in the episode and clark showed he can still be a hero without his super powers.

We all know that in every season, there bound to be some mediocre eppys. I can't say I hate or like this episode. Personally it is not the most memorable with the exception of the end of Clana and Brianiac. As for the whole hypnotic storyline, I personally couldn't care less.

In addition, I hate the way they make Lois look stupid in this eppy. I mean, would the future heroine really go up to the Kent house and just announce that she intend to stop the whole hypnotic fiasco. Personally, I think Lois is smarter than that.

But Erica Durance still did a wonderful job, trying to bring some dignity to the flawed character.

Hidden has definitely been my favorite of the season thus far...followed by Arrival (with the exception of that retarded fight scene at the end ... if you can even call that a fight).

the episode was a lot better than tomb and exposed. i would say its ranked in the middle of the season of whats been shown so far.

Hypnotic was an outstanding episode in my opinion. I had a few gripes with it, but it was a suprisingly good episode. The main plot was fun, the performances were good, the subplot with Lex and Fine was great, and the Clana is finally over, with hints of Lana becoming evil? I hate Lexana, but an evil Lana? Now that I can live with. It might finally make her character interesting again. I expected this episode to suck because of all the hate mail that it is receiving on this site, but it was a good episode in my opinion.

The crappy episodes of this season have been :

Reckoning, Tomb, and Aqua.

But you can definately add next week's episode to the list after that preview. What is with Holly Harold and her obsession with Lana? Where do they come up these lame plots?

Yeah, this episode was not worth waiting a month for, but on the plus side, I got to see Clark knock out Lois - that was sweet! Not that I agree with it, but I can't stand her!
