No Nell is still in Melrosplois as far as we know. Only this is the first time in 2-3 years we've haerd of Lana going or talking to Nell.

I thought the idea was that Metropolis is three hours from Smallville. I used to go to school three hours from the closest big city and that was an exhausting trip to make at the most twice a month during college (despite what it seems like on the show, college is very busy!). I can't believe they had her on a Saturday night date with Clark, a stop at Lex's, to the dorm, then back to the Kent Farm. Wasn't that all supposed to be the same evening?! And Lois decides to drive three hours to Metropolis that same night just to tell Chloe about seeing Clark in the alley with another girl? Why didn't she just pick up the phone? I know, it hurt my head to think about to deeply while watching the show, so I just stopped trying to make sense of it. Oh, and Aunt Nell lives in Metropolis, so Lana drove back to Metropolis after seeing Clark with the new chick.

She should be happy she got any Christmas tree, and that Nell even took her in and lovec her and treated her well. I never liked how Lana made her aunt out to be such a bad person when all the times we seen her Nell was nothing loving and supportive of Lana. The only time she seemed to not really be nice was at the begining of the pilot and that was just becuase Jonathan and Martha were there....or just martha....She didnt seem to mind at all that she got to take a look at Jonathan. :lol:

I doubt we'll ever know how, both characters are gone, it's a shame because I wanted to know what went down too.

I think that Lana just gripped because Nell was the closest thing to a parent she had and you tend to grip about your parents no matter how much you love them (no offense to my parents :D)

Wow, Aunt Nell was mentioned...big whoop. That character has been gone since S2, and it took more than two seasons to be referenced. I wouldn't be surprised if they mentioned her just to pump "Void" for people to remember that Lana had an aunt once :lol:.

I still dont get why Nell or Gabe or Martha's dad werent at the funeral (yes I know because then TPTB would have to pay them actors for being there) But I mean he and Nell were once close and Nell didnt seem to ever hate Jonathan or even dislike him or anything and werent he and Gabe friends? and Martha's dad could have atleast shown up to support Martha and Clark. I know not to even mention Pete because he just dont even exist in memory anymore. Another nit pick moment but geesh all these people who knew Jonathan and none of them even paid him last respects.

I have always wished more of the Jonathan/Nell thing had been talked about because to me the relationship sounds like it might of been like Clana only without all the secrets and lies.
