Clois?? you are kidding me!! I mean I can't help to get really mad about this :(

TPTB decided that they couldn't had a "good" Lex 'cause it wasn't alright with the comics, and now the Clois is a posibility when Lois and Clark aren't even in the Planet? And Lois is not even a reporter?? :confused:

Man, I was just getting back to Smallville but if the Clois starts I'm so out of here :mad:

I actually think that they are setting us up to tease a little Chlark but then there's gonna be the same old story... Chloe comes close to having her man then *BAM* something happens that draws Lois and Clark together. You know.. Kind of have the season go out the way it came in.

I know, I know, but you have to understand something... to me.. and well to a lot of people, the one that should be "the Lois Lane" is not the Lois that is in Smallville, is Chloe!!! I mean I love that character!!! And I truly, truly dislike Lois :(

I almost gave up Smallville in the last 2 years 'cause the Clana was awful for me, and the storylines?? Please!!! The witch storyline was really, really the bottom of the series, at least until now.

Anyway, I don't like this Lois Lane, I'm a Superman fan, but to me, the real Lois Lane is Chloe, that's it, and if the Clois with this Lois starts, yeah, I don't think I'll watch Smallville anymore, keep reading fics and watching vids, but not the episodes.

Well now....I don't even know what to say. I am a Chlarker, BUT a part of me is a Clois fan as well. I know it is inevitable that Clois happens, but I truly believe that Chloe IS the Lois in the show. Something tells me that she is the one who will one day end up with Clark simply because SHE FILLS THE SHOES for the character, and Lois/Erica doesn't.

But that is as of right now in the show....who knows what may/may not happen in the future...These are all simply my opinions of course! :)

Let's just say the writers have dug a little hole. They've given Clark and Lois TOO MUCH of a brother sister vibe. It would be too weird now to have them smacking lips.

I like both Chlark and Clois. I like anything that's not Clana and Lexana. :p:p

But I hate all of the soap opera angst on this show. And hah! If this is how they write the end of Clana then I don't think I want them touching a ship that I actually like. God knows how they would end Chlark. :\

I know! I was all excited by the Chlex promo pictures and was kind of disappointed that the Chlex only lasted a few little seconds. I was hoping they'd be down on the floor wrestling for the gun, rolling around and getting all sweaty together.;)

'Cause TPTB wanted an evil Lex, and really do you think Chloe would have been willing to deal with an evil Lex?? I truly liked Chlex for a long time, but with the change in Lex's character it was just a non- go for me :(

I think Chlark sounds great!! even if its for a little while and if they break up and decide to be just "friends, then I think Chloe will understand anyway, since she knows Clarks secret.

i would love to see chlark action but i will probly never happen. we will probly just see teases and maybe a little bit growing but then as others have said it will stop for some reason.

I love the Chlark friendship to, but do you know how much I'll love to see a real, real Chlark kiss?? I mean there has been the... hypnotic kiss in Hug, the almost kiss in Tempest, the a lot of kisses in redK-alien parasite Rush, the cover up kiss in Magnetic, the kool aid kisses in Devoted, the Oh my!! They almost kissed in Bound, and the Evil Clark/Lionel tease!!

But never a real, real Chlark kiss, I want to see one!!! :(

Okay, I need some Chloe spoilers, guys, and so far there isn't much helpful info about the episode in this thread. I don't get to see this show till Sunday (no WB affiliate) and I need to know what direction they're pointing the show in. Clana is (supposedly) over-- which direction did the anvils point in, Clois or Chlark? What did Chloe do in this episode? Did she have any scenes with Clark? Any romantic overtones whatsoever?

Have pity on the person with no WB and spill all, please!

ok If there is going to be anyone new for clark it would be chloe. Think about it, chloe is the only one that knows clark secret. why start a relationship with someone with all the secrets clark has, especially since thats what broke up the last relationship he was in. Plus if anything happens romatically for clark it wont be this season, he already has enough on his plate. Though I really, really, really like to have my yearly CHLARK kiss.

Yes! Monica, I agree with you wholeheartedly! I'm so for Chlark, but unfortunately I don't think it's ever going to happen. Chloe was the hero in Hypnotic. She cares so deeply for Clark; she knows his strengths, his weaknesses, and she's always looking out for him. The writers make Clark out to be so indifferent towards her; stupid jerk doesn't realize what a good thing he's got right in front of him.

And I too can't stand Lois. I see absolutely no chemistry between her and Clark, not even a hint of it. How the writers are going to pursue the whole Clark/Lois love fest is beyond me. Maybe the show will end before it happens (one can only hope!)

First to answer Monica's question, Chloe and Clark did have several scenes together in this episode. There weren't any romantic overtones.

As to Ellen's question, Chloe was great in this show. Lois was nothing but filler. She really didn't have any purpose but to provide comic relief and to clue Chloe in that something was wrong with Clark. It was apparent that Chloe knows Clark much better than Lois or Lana. She was pretty resourceful also and brave. At the end, Martha told Clark that Lana might not be the one and surprisingly Lois didn't suddenly arrive.

Thanks :), and yeah i finally saw this episode and it was.... Chloestastic!!!!, ok, I just created that awful word, but it was such an awesome epi for Chloe!!! She was amazing all the way!!! Fantastic is just the word for Chloe here!!!

And yeah, what was Lois doing there?? besides filling spaces??

I need more Chloe!!! Sadly it looks like Void is going to be all about Lana again :(, and why is that!!!!! Argh!!!

By the way, "Chloestastic" is a great word. Chloe is awesome. She was the real hero in this episode. She's so much cooler than Lana. Yeah Chloe! Boo Lana!

I dont know about your statement that Chloe is Lois?

I mean Lois is Lois, she treats Clark like she is supposed to do, she is irritatating him, and it's hard for anyone at all to come close to Lois, i mean she is more like a hot girl that is acting like clarks friend ( is clarks friend ) if you know what i mean?

Chloe does need some lovin'. I want to see her with a new, hot guy, and I want to see Clark get jealous. Really jealous. I want some tension, some heat. That would make the show more interesting, because right now, ain't much happening in Chloe's world except being a little helper for our man Clarkie.

See I used to like chlark but then when he continually kept running to lana and treating chloe like crap i started hating the pairing. I kinda want someone new for chloe maybe another person with super powers who eventually sweeps her off her feet and takes her away from smallville and the daily planet (just my weird way of possibly getting her off the show when the time comes cause who knows what tptb have planned)

I know, I hated those episodes when Chloe's feelings would get hurt because Clark was ditching her for Lana. Clark was so incredibly irritating.

I like your 'person with superpowers' idea. That would be a great way for her to leave the show.

I have a feeling though it's one of those things where Chloe will always be in love with Clark, even if she meets someone else. You know, like he'll always occupy a part of her heart, no matter what happens.

Why spoil a good friendship.?She deserves to have a chance with someone WHO truly loves her from the start NOT with someone who hasn't . Do you really what to see Chloe's heart broken again?:confused:

Personally I think we will see Chlark before the end of the show. In fact I have a theory about it being the catalyst for Clark's emergence as Superman, the final nail in the coffin of his friendship with Lex and the basis of his of his relationship with Lois. But I'm sure you don't want to hear about that!

I would so love to see the dashing Bruce Wayne sweep Chloe off of her feet and make Clark jealous, but you're right, the idiot probably would go all 'big brother' about it.

Hey has anyone else noticed that Clark and Lana could pass as brother and sister? Hillbilly Clana....now there's a scary thought. Not that it wasn't disturbing all by itself of course.

Uumm, personally I think the only the Chlark WE wil see is their friendship up to the series end;)

And I do hope that Chloe DOES get sweep by her feet by a handsome hunk, not to make Clark jealous:\ which I know won't happen because he will never think of her that way, but she deserves one.,;)

But he did think of her that way---once. When she started getting interested in that guy (oh what's his name?), the artist one, the episode in which Whitney's dad dies. Clark admitted that he felt a little strange seeing her with someone else. I would like to see a little of this again, if if it doesn't blossom into a whirlwind romance.

Then, again, they were in high school (freshmen year), so long ago.....ah, the good ol' days.

exactly, things were different than. I doubt he will feel anything but friendship toward her now. And I think whatever he felt for Chloe than wasn't exactly anything romantic toward her.

Don't they just! Though to be fair you could say that his attraction to Lana could be discounted as the same thing. He is still only eighteen after all .

Yes, exactly, which is why I think a lot of people don't take Clark and Lana's relationship seriously. For example, I saw that some people were upset on the board that Clark and Lana slept together, because though both Clark and Lana technically were adults, Clark didn't tell her the truth about himself---so how adult (on a maturity level) of a relationship could theirs be? (if you can't be completely honest with your true love?) So, yes, I think some people discount their relationship, considering it only puppy love. I wouldn't necessarily call it puppy love, but it is a weird sort of obsessive and needy relationship, esp. on Clark's end. To me, it never seemed to be a completely healthy relationship, and I think the writers did a good job of portraying that.
