Anyone have any guesses as to why the ship is in Honduras? How did it transport itself there in the blink of an eye? What's with the scary virus? Multiple Braniacs, oh my! Thoughts?

Honduras is the place where the Water Stone(the symbol on Lana's lower back) was found by Lionel's team. Where we found out in "Transference". Hence Fine reference to Mayans believing the Gods visited them. The Kryptonians put the stone there.

The rest have to wait...the virus so spoilery lol. That's the first time I ever seen any incarnation of Brainaic multiply like that.

I think that whole thing with Fine and Honduras is the setup for the final two episodes Vessel and Oracle.
I can't wait till the last two episodes....

This was the only part of the episode that I found interesting! (well, other than the bit where Chloe knocks Martha out with the rolling pin). Gosh darnit, I'm actually curious to see where this Brainiac storylines goes. (too bad I'll probably have to suffer through Clexana crap while watching it, unfortunately)

Honduras did figure into last years stones arc, it's apparently a site the Kryptonians have visited in the past for unexplained reasons. So we are actually seeing an attempt at continuity of a sort. I agree the Lex-Fine scenes were by far the best part of this ep. Be interesting to see what develops.

I think Brainiac dividing himself is cheap. It's beginning to stink of "Agent smith rip-off" My suspicions are that two of those Brainiac went to egypt and cgina though, since honduras was a stone site. I belive they are trying to create a "Super-Virus", perhaps replicating an actual Kryptonian disease.

I thinking the same thing except they are searching the world for more viruses/plagues. I'm not liking the multiple Brainaics since they seem to taking many things from The Matrix and T2 to develop this character. I think it was kinda lame :\.

I wondered if I was the only one that thought that.
Why does this show do things like that? I mean they couldn't come up with something better with Brainiac?? What gives?!

Well, I guess I was way off. I thought Braniac was using the biohazard (virus) to split himself.....

he may have been, when they split, they said they needed more blood or whatever word he used.

I know Brainiac is evil, but I don't know too much else about him. What exactly is Brainiac? I mean how can he do the whole split into many different people thing, and the whole my finger is a dagger. I'm a little confused by this Brainiac.

Braniac was a Kryptonian A.I./supercomputer and I think they're just using the split/dagger ideas for plotlines.

I believe it is possible to do this because IMO, Brainiac is composed of thousands upon thousands of Kryptonian nanobots.

It's a better explanation than "Evil black goo", right? LOL!

Brainiac is simply an AI, he doesn't necessarily have a form. In fact, in all likelyhood the AI is housed in the ship itself (or IS the ship). The "black goo" and Milton Fine's are sort of interfaces, which allow him to interact with things outside the ship.

At least, that seems the most likely explanation to me.

And the A.I broadcasts into the nanobots!

well ide4ally though superman can never get rid of brainiac in the comics he always had an extra body somewhere or lived on in some kind of computer. it was a recent justice league episode where they made him able to put his data into a flesh form
