You're hypnotized Clark! How else could you throw me across the room like a rag doll?!

Lol, this stuff is priceless.

Gotta admit, that was pretty damn bad writing. If being hynotized gave people super human strength I imagine it would be a booming business ;)

Usually it's Clark making the excuses, but Lex saved him the trouble by making up one for him.

Yeah, um, I was like, "What the hell does hypnosis have to do with super strength?" The plot hole there was so big I could have chucked a "Perry"-esque tractor through it.

Or maybe Lex was just playing it smooth by not letting on that he knew about Clark's real secret.

Lol, but playing it smooth as you're being chucked into walls is pretty slick!

Imagine if Lex had seen Clark catch a bullet.

"You're hypnotized Clark. How else would you be able to catch a bullet."

Now, once Simone was shot, Chloe just threw the Kryptonite into the hallway...
Wouldn't Lex find it and put 2 and 2 together?

Maybe he was supposed to sound like he was making up a bad excuse for Clark so he wouldn't have to. eh I don't know lol maybe it was just terrible writing...

It actually does make sense. When people are in the right state of mind they are capable of doing things that seem unnatural. You hear stories of scrawny housewives lifting cars when a child is trapped underneith. I'm sure Clark can manage to throw Lex across a room even without his powers in the right state of mind.

I'm convinced that this show is for a primetime audience, and not for actual Superman fans.

Well, if we're getting into that, then the question is: why would it take so long for Clark to choke Lex? It was taking him forever. With his super-strength (one flick of his finger knocked out Lois) he should have broken Lex's neck in half a second.

Yeah, given Lex's suspisions that line struck me as odd, but then I thought maybe he's just trying to save his butt. If he knows what Clark is capable of, maybe he was just trying any way he could think of to stop Clark from killing him. Who knows?

Lex's thoughts after this episode: I wa hypnotized, I didn't really get thrown 20 feet across a room...I didn't see clark collapse due to a meteor rock, nor did I see chloe throw it away.

she said to make him suffer. he was probably taking it easy. if he just snapped his neck in half, that wouldn't really be suffering cause hed probably die instantly.

There are incidents of people doing unnatural things because of adrenaline, but that was a RIDICULOUSLY far, high, and fast chuck across the room. Lex is either the biggest idiot in the world for thinking hypnosis could do that or... Well, I can't think of another explanation. Dumb like a fox doesn't work here because it was just out there. Ugh.

Simone told Clark to make Lex suffer. A slow painful death is the ticket, which is what Clark attempted.

So, if you are hypnotized, do you really know you are or have been hypnotized?

Absolutely hilarious and you could tell the comment was a pre-emptive explaination for Clark using his powers on Lex.

Of course Clark did hold back some as he could have easily snapped Lex's neck while choking him.

Whats even more convient was, afer Chloe shoots Simone, lex turns his back to give Chloe time to chuck the good ole kryptonite away...

If I was Lex I would be wondering why Clark had fell down...
