The show has dragged Lana and Clark out far too long. It's time to bring on SOMETHING NEW. Clark and Chloe, Clark and Lois.. hell Clark and Lex for all I care! Just stop giving us the same old story.
Clark and Lex baby. Clark and Lex. ;) :D

Clark and Lex would be hot! LOL Now that's a new spin to Superman...
Although, most of you on this board probably aren't ready for that... ::rofl:: :)

Well I've seen quite a bit that are so maybe... I do want to see something new though. Not that I dislike Clana but they are just letting it die any way.

you're right phoephoe. we are a little more progressive around here so I stand corrected.... that's why I love you Smallvillians ;)
The only thing that will upset me about the Clana situation is if they find some stupid way to bring it back.

I think there was emotion, but they've pulled the same scene so many times that we're all immune to it. It doesn't tug our heartstrings because the writers have been crying wolf for so long. And Kristen's reaction is the same all the time. As much as she cared about Clark and having just seen him pre-boning with some random blonde, Lana should've been throwing stuff and yelling. They should've had to bleep out a few things:
Clark: "I don't love you."
Lana: "You sorry piece of *(&%!! I should $(%&^ your #$(*$ you $#&#^!!" :rotfl:

I must have dozed off during the emotion, especially from Clark. Lana, that was the most emotion I remember seeing from her. It seemed like TW was not at all interested in doing this episode. Who can blame him?
Welling is Hot, you are right. TPTB certainly could have and should have given Clana a better send off. Kind of like firecracker. You keep waiting for the pop, the fire, the noise...only to discover that you tried to light a dud.

LOL I loved it too. But I was like 'Awww' at the look on Clark's face at the end. I know, I know I should be more worried about Lana but I'm not.

I think Ferd is too naughty for the forums. Okay... She could be naughtier.
Come see me in the adult thread. ;) And don't ask about my Lex puppet. :p

So ferd, I assume when Simone was telling Lex about what a great kisser Clark is, you had Lex thinking to himself "don't I know it" in your head?

Totally agree. TW looked almost bored during this whole thing. And the opening part... where they're having coffee and laughing about his dancing? It was so awkward and out of place.
He was probably thinking "Didn't we just break up?"
God, you know he's got to be tired of thos loft scenes. *yawn*
Lana even makes a comment like ... "I've climbed these stairs so many times... they seems steeper than ever." And you know KK wanted say, "and let's hope this is the last time I climb them."

I hope this is the last Clana break up I will see in the history of smallville
I think they are going by Jr. High rules.
Clark had his fingers crossed when he said he didn't love her.

I have to admit (and hope it doesn't come across as evil, heh), when Lana started crying outside the barn after the breakup, I really just had (and still don't) no sympathy.
As sad as it could have been, it's just kind of one of those "well, it's about time this happened" things :)

Am I the only one who thought that the Lana crying outside the barn scene was horribly done?

I don't care what anybody else says, she's just not the world's greatest actress. Only in Al/Miles world. :\

I think the producers intended for the breakup scene to be almost void of emotion, especially for Clark, to bring out the viewer's emotions. The lack of a proper response to their breakup adds more to the greif in a way. This has been the theme lately with Clark and Lana's interactions.

If that is the case then the idea is ingenious as it definitely has created a strong reaction on these boards.
