Cool episode. So whats Micah's power? Fixes things? Lame. Still the episode was dragged down by Nikkis story. I was hoping it'd pick up when DL character was introduced, but man everytime she was on screen I wanted to turn the channel. Also I really want to see that painting and why did Linderman buy it? Was it because he really liked it or was it for other reasons? And from next weeks trailer they are now making HRG a good guy... Ok I'll buy it, I mean really what has he done really thats evil, besides mindwipe the guy who tried to rape his daughter.

From what it appeared to be, Micah's power involves telepathy or some power of the mind. That would be my guess anyways. It looks like he can manipulate things with his mind. Speaking of Micah, I really liked how he was able to recognize that he was talking to Nikki's alter ego Jessica. I thought that was cool.

As for the episode, I totally loved it. I personally think this was the best episode of Heroes yet. I loved how all the characters were expanded on. I was especially interested in Matt helping to track down Sylar. Interesting development with his old partner banging his wife. Messed up. I also really liked the introduction of the Radioactive Man. I loved the line of "I could blow up the city like a nuclear bomb" or something along those lines. I guess we know who is responsible for D-Day now.

Great scene with Hiro rescuing DL and the woman. Loved the line "Why couldn't I have gotten superstrength too?"

There was a missing scene from the episode though. In the previews, Claire said "You can't tell anybody" to her brother. However this was never shown. All we got was him finding out and then Claire talking him out of the car.

I think it is also great how they worked in the internet tag for Claire's father when Nathan refered to him as having "Horn Rimmed Glasses". That is what the Heroes Internet Community has been calling him. Speaking of HRG, I love how the trailer for next week said "Whose side is this guy on?" I think it would actually turn out to be cool if he wasn't really a villain.

As always a fantastic episode of Heroes. Next week's looks great as usual.

i just think the episode jumped around a lot and people were hiding to much info from people. some people are taking a step forward while others seem to be taking a step back.

Ouch, I lived on dialup for six years, so I totally understand.
I remember leaving the computer on overnight just to download a song, whew.
If I had to go back to dialup I think I would sell my computers.

When I was on vacation I took my laptop and parked outside of a Burger King that had a wireless hotspot and watched TV on my computer, Halfway through the episode I was watching I got hungry and went inside to watch the rest of the episode and pigged out on fries :p

I agree that Micah and Hiro would make a cool combo. I hope that happens.

Claire did say for her brother not to tell anyone outside at the car. However, in the trailer, there was a scene in the kitchen where she says it to him point blank right after he sees her heal from the staple. This scene was in the trailer, but not in the episode. In the episode, he runs out of the kitchen after he sees it happen. Then all we see after that is Claire coaxing him out of the car.

would any of you get the dvd? i think i might but i might hold off and make sure i dont get bored after 2 seasons. i have to make sure i would get all seasons cause if i dont complete dvd sets i go insane lol.

My wife & I are DVDaholics, we have over 300 movies and several TV series in the collection, there are more I want like "Greatest American Hero" the Superboy TV collection, and my wife wants the complete M*A*S*H set that is coming out soon.
It seems when you find and get all the ones you want, they bring out more.

OH, I want the Roswell set too.

i have 200 something vhs and close to 200 dvds altogether. ill have to see how many after xmas. maybe 11 more by the end of the year.

I can relate to that mostly. Lois & Clark was an expcetion, despite my love for all things superman. Season 4 annoyed me because every episode they just did the same old "we're so incredibly in love" routine, and it bothered me so much it was the first time I didn't have to have every season.

About Claire's father since the beginning I thought that maybe he isn't a villian. Too obvious and predictable imo. And I love Hiro , the scene in the accident was awesome and yeah...that quote hilarious, I noticed that Hiro is the only one that have meet somehow the other heroes. Nikki, Nathan, Peter, Issac, Micah, DL.... only has left Claire, Matt and Mohinder.

Yep Novak Fan. It took me a little while to figure it out as well. TWOP is a great source for net slang when it comes to shows. That is how I found out about HRG.

Speaking of internet slang for Heroes, I was cruising the TWOP boards and they kept making mention to someone named Ikin in reference to Niki. It took me a few minutes to realize they were refering to her alter ego Jessica because Ikin is Niki's name backwards. Since no one knew what Niki's alter ego was named, they just refered to her as Ikin all this time. Now everyone hates the name Jessica, and insists on sticking with Ikin. Personally I think Ikin is a cooler name than Jessica. :)

out of all the heroes on that show i would enjoy hiro on smallville. to bad they arent the same network a crossover would be cool. and john glover on heroes would be cool.


i really like it when hiro freezes things and how everything is in mid air and he can interact with it so well. even tho its just mostly a green screen or at some points maybe guys in green screen suites making it able for him to interact phsically with it. like the poker game and the smoke and cards that looked great.

o ya it does look like clarks speed effect but there is more detial since we have to focus on the detial more on hereos. but the rain freezing scene in season 2 i think it was looked good like hiros freezing stuff

New episode tomorrow. I think this is the first time in history, where I actually look forward to Mondays. It is usually the worst day of the week.. :lol:

According to previews, the next two episodes are going to change the course of the series. I am hoping that it is more than just advertising and that we get some nice developments.

I am hoping this week's episode is more like last week's in which a lot of characters get development, and not just a select few. I used to hate the way the show bounced around from character to character in the first few episodes, but now that the show has been on longer, and we have gotten to know the characters better, I hope they develop as many as they can.

ya i really hope the shows promos mean what they say about it being really good. but if its at the point when the cheerleader is doomed i think it would be good. watch tommorows episode end right as she is running like in the vision peter and issac had when drawing her doom. im looking forward to see what they will do to issac. maybe these new episodes will let us know if clairs dad is really a bad guy or not.

yep, I really enjoyed the develoment as well, but sometimes it feels weird that they totally ignore what happen to a character, like when Matt was kidnapped and now it's the same with Issac. One episode and we don't know where he is :\

I don't know...I hope that Claire's dad to be bad, because if he isn't then where are the bad guys? I don't want Sylar to be the only one...if he is too that's it

i think sylar will be the main villian of the series maybe. cliares dad is the way lionel luthor is now on smallville. you cant really tell if he is good or bad cause some stuff he does seeems like he is a good guy and other times he seems bad. maybe its like xmen professor x is good and magneto is bad but they are both agianst and work together to stop the government. maybe clairs dad is like magneto and wants to use these people to fight off saylar and do his dirty work for him. where hiro would be like professor x and also wants to stop sylar but he doesnt want to control the other super powered people he just wants to lead them and try to make things right.

know what would piss me off if there is hiro future hiro and an extreme future hiro and that extreme future hiro is really sylar. that would be a twist.

I think that is partly on purpose. To make us feel a bit like the characters do. Matt doesn't remember what happened to him and lost chunks of time, so by ignoring the kidnapping purposefully after the fact, we as the audience feel as confused and disoriented as Matt.

From the upcoming title list, the next one is named Homecoming;

Claire's homecoming becomes a scary event in spite of her father's efforts to protect her. Simone and Nathan team up to find one of Isaac's sold paintings, but this quest may result in trouble. Hiro goes back in time for a do-over. Micah and his dad spend time together. Suresh's dreams continue, and he finds out about a boy that leads him back to his father's research.

one thing if that little boy in the picture and in mohinders dream was an indian boy then how come sylar looks white? which makes me think sylar is a shapeshifter. and what if mohinder is actually sylar. like sylar is to mohinder as jessica is to nikki. yet mohinder doesnt know it. think about it something was going on with mohinder when he was in a flashback trance or something and at the same time sylar was killing that waitress girl. what if sylar astralprohjects out of mohinders body. also what is with the computer images and stuff and it looked to me that the darkj spots on the compuiter screen were in the shape of the tattoo nikki has on her back.

Yes, the blank spaces scrolling across the computer screen is the same as the tattoo.
Mohinder just needs to step back and see the pattern.

i dont know. i was going to say it was mohinder as a boy but still he would have known what he looked like as a child. there was a spoiler saying there was a new addition to the cast the 10 year old boy so im assuming we will find out eventually. do you have any screen captures of those pictures that were in the kids file? and i wonder why it needed to be locked up. maybe its important to the story. i also wonder what mohinders sisters power was before she was killed. and sylar is a bad dude if he would kill a kid.

If he went back in time to save the girl in the diner, there would have never been a conversation to his friend to wait 5 seconds for him to return. Thus, as soon as he dissapeared, Hiro's friend should have been somewhere else that day without the memory of Hiro or the girl in the diner.

i dont hate his powrer but i get what you say about time traveling. its like clark he can time travel and it delets the purpose of everything else that happened. hopefully hereos have a better plot line for hiro regarding the use of time travel cause if he wanted to he can find out who sylar is go back in time when sylar was a baby and kill baby sylar and that way no ones brians will be eaten in the future.

i dont hate his powrer but i get what you say about time traveling. its like clark he can time travel and it delets the purpose of everything else that happened. hopefully hereos have a better plot line for hiro regarding the use of time travel cause if he wanted to he can find out who sylar is go back in time when sylar was a baby and kill baby sylar and that way no ones brians will be eaten in the future.
Yeah I was thinking something more on the lines of that. I think when Hiro goes back to a different time period, he may create alternate timelines.

i cant remember if there was a tv show or movie or something but there was a thing about time travel where you go back in time and change stuff and go to the preasent but it changed but the original presant is still there so you have to go back to the origanal present before you left to make sure you can connect the past to the presant to the new presant. something like that.

let me see if i can clean it up a bit lol

A = the past
B= current time
C = alternate current time

Person in B goes to A and changes what happened in A. when they try to go back to B they wind up in C. B still exsists but the portal into B is locked up. so you have to go from C to the locked door of B cause that part of B still exsists but you cant go any further of B till the past catches up to that point. then when it does you will be at the point when you leave B and go to A then your back in B but things are different from what A caused. so C turns into B and everything is back on the right universal plane.

i didnt get it from Harry potter and the prisoner of azkaban but its like when harry and hermione went back in time and had to be back exactly at the same time they left. that way it seems as if nothing changed even tho it did. so if they were to go time travel into the future and not wait then they would have to time travel back to that exact point where they meet dumbldore in the hall.

Time Cop followed that storyline, first was the movie, then the series.
I liked that one a lot.

never seen time cop. i know a lot of shows and movies follow the time travel thing but i cant remember what one im thinking off.
im pretty sure in whatever it was someone was explaining it on a chalk board and wrote down three part and drew a line from the first 2 then said when you tome travel it skips the seciond place and then they erased that line and drew an arc from the first point over the second and stoped at the third so the line wasnt touching the middle. and they explained how to get back to the origanal real world.

But there is also "Back to the Future II", where when Marty and the Doc came back from 2015, they found an alternate 1985 that was created when 2015's Biff travelled to 1955 and gave the Sports Almanac to 1955's Biff. Marty and the Doc had to travel to 1955 to destroy the Sports Almanac to correct 1985.

I still didn't saw this week's Heroes to tell which theory can be.

ya i was thinking back to the future 2 but i dont think it was the movie im thinking of and its driving me nuts lol. errrrr
plus in real life it would probably be impossible to time travel and change anything. cause like in back to the future when marty was disapearing cause his parents werent together he would have never really disappeared cause if he made it for his parents to never get married then he would have never been born which means he couldnt have time traveled in the first place to screw things up so he would have been born and time traqveled and it would be a giant rotation that doesnt get you anywhere lol.


also if hiro stopped the girl from coming into work to die then she would have never showed up and never died so hiro would have never meet her to find out she died to go back in time to save her life so agian is just a pointless rotation.
also since hiro told peter to go to save the cheerleader and the cheerleader does get saved then future hiro wouldnt have to go back in time to tell peter to save the cheerleader and they would have never known so agian another pointless rotation.

so thats probably what makes the alternate universe one that hapens when its in a major rotation and one that happens when the time travel works out to change ythe future

im watching deal or no deal and there was a comercial for the fridays episode and then its like watch deal or no deal friday and then save the cheerleader lol. seems like some is sticking hidden messages in there comercials lol.

o and heroes has repeats mondays and fridays on sci fi or you can download it at that nbc website.

ok, great episode has always, and again I liked it that they didn't center in just one character. Now Mohinder and Issac had their turn and Nikki and the Petrellis wasn't in onscreen. I like that. And wow....Eden is one of them. I thought before that maybe she was a "heroe" too, but I said nah!! not everybody should have powers. And well , she have. And I like that she isn't bad, she is just being forced by Mr. Benett. And well, he isn't a good guy but not a bad guy neither. Just like someone here said very well. He's like a Lionel Luthor. He does good things that seems wrong and wrong things that seems good:p I know that every week I say the same but I really loved this episode!

BTW Hiro powers...to complicated to think about it :lol: but I felt sorry when Sylar murdered that girl.

There are way too many characters on this show. I don't like that individual plots are not picked up in every episode. I also don't really give a damn about Nicki. She's the most boring of them all and really, what use is a power one can't control, or worse, works against you? Now, if all is not as it seems with her, it might be more interesting.

Hmm i think Chlarkfan that they will learn to deveop their abilities as the show goes on. I think Nikki's ability is super strength however she has a split personality which cmplicates it. I dnt think her ability is a split personality/super strength. LIke Issac i hope his power isnt always going to be dependant on Heroine, hopefully one day he finds a way to trigger it without needing to shoot up.

Hey guys does anyone know if u can post fan-fiction here for Heroes? Issac shouldn't have to if Peter did it. He made Isacc look bad, using his power better than himself. Love the show, Nathan my favorite because of the flying and his potential speed nof flight. Hiro is no doubt the most powerful, don't like the way he acts. I'm intrested to see how strong Nikki/Jessica is. D.L and Micah are cool characters. Micah looks like he's known about his power for a while ( 2 weeks to a month). I hope the telepath becomes more powerful.

Peter's powers seem to allow him to hold onto the other person's power for a short time after he leaves contact with them. Prolonged exposure may or may not increase the amount of time he has their power (if it did, I would say he will eventually be able to fly due to being around his brother so much). So even though Claire wasn't with him, he still retained her power, allowing him to survive.
