Madden NFL Football...I really can't think of any reason why it would not be considered the greatest series of all time. I am gonna end up buying a next generation console just for Madden.

My favorite series is the Legend of Zelda series, I just love playing Link - his movements, and the puzzles, and storyline just excite me, and entertain me more then any other series.

I agree. Harry Potter rules! I have not played the Goblet of Fire game yet but all the others rock! I also enjoy the Tomb Raider Games. There is another one coming out. I also like the Mario games. mainly Super Mario Bros. 1 and 3 on NES. and I like Soul Calibur 2.:)

Harry Potter was a good game? I think i might play it now that I've heard someone say something positive. Notoriously Video games based on movies suck (few exceptions like Spider-man 2) so I naturally assumed it wouldn't be that good. Sounds like I should give it a try.

Then it's a good thing that they Lucasarts confirmed a year ago that the KOTOR series would not be left behind on next gen consoles, indicating a 3rd one was in the works, which by your definition makes it a series. And a great one at that.

Objectively, the Final Fantasy series is the best, but the Phantasy Star series is my personal favorite. I prefer the original 4 games to the online versions, though.

Probably Legend of Zelda, there's no other series except for the Mario Bros. series that can rival its success. Though personally I'm not such a fan of that series. Twilight Princess just sky-rocketed above all other games in its sales. It can be argued if either Ocarina of Time or Twilight Princess is the best Zelda game. Other series I like is Prince of Persia, but these days I prefer Assassin's Creed above that. The second game shows a lot of promise and takes out the flaws the first one had.
