There as GOT to be some people who play it, I got GOTY edition and it's awesome, hands down one of (If not THE best) RPG's on the Xbox.I have put together a list of pros and cons for this game

PROS Very solid game, may be a little intimidating at first, but once you start it's hard to stop. EXCELLENT custom class builder, a very, very, VERY good story, that is honestly what makes a game IMO. Not to mention GOTY has 2 more Main quests for you to complete.

The open-endness is what made the game for me. You can be WHATEVER you want to be. You can be a legendary Thief, when you enter a town have every guard try to kill you.

You can be a legendary Hero who has saved the world more than once.

Or you can be a nobody, just a guy trying to make his way in the world

If I wanted to compile a list of pros for this game, it would take up way, way, to much room. So I Will say it is a must-have.

But don't fret, it is also on PC, but, PC has the TES Construction Set, yes, you can legally MOD this game. Create your own race, put on Mount mods, anything you want.

CONS Of the very few Cons in this game, I would have to point out the Graphics, well, considering this game was made in 2002, I guess I can give it some leeway, but still, they are not something I would expect on an Xbox.

Another thing that got to me was the combat, it is chop/slash/thrust etc. I aprreciate the real-time but they could have made it better.

Considering its age, I would have to say, this game is without a doubt, one of the best RPG's out there

4.9/5.00

I hated this game... and so far it has been the only game I ever returned after buying.

Like you said, it is open-ended. For me, it was too open ended, and I personally like some kind of direction instead of just putting me into a new world that i know nothing about and saying "here you go, do whatever you want."

I got so frustrated that I just ended up walkin around hacking at anybody who came near me. Which led to having people come after me any time I walked into a certain town. I am not even going to argue about graphics and the like, because that had no effect on how much I liked (or disliked) the game.

Playability: a big fat 0.5 out of 5
Everything else counts for squat if you can't have fun playing a game.

I went to buy the 4th one, but I got GRAW instead, cause ES has no Live play.

I got the 4th one and WOW that game is unbeleiveable. 5/5 easily.

Well if we want to talk about Oblivion, lets go to the thread for it.
