dunno where better to post this because if I put it in the help section then the people that read the comics forum will probably never see the thread and get to voice their opinion (that is if they even care lol)

:( I'm wondering why the Superman Comics, Animated Series, & MORE section was split up into that and this "Comics and Anime" section

There just isn't enough threads to justify this imo and it's not like it was hard to navigate through the old pre-split section. The Superman Comics, Animated Series, & MORE section had low enough traffic as it was before. This will just make it even more so. Also a lot of the stuff we talk about that isn't "about" Superman may relate to him or he may be involved with at later times.

I too preferred it when anything comic-book related - be it Superman, other DC titles, or Marvel - all went in the same section. I wouldn't mind if DC and Marvel got split, but talking about Superman comics in one area and every other DC comic in this area doesn't seems like a good idea.

Guys, I actually made the rule in that section that it would be all DC related or connected to Superman in some form there. There are some DC threads that scattered over here, but the old section is still DC based.

Just covering everything else over here is all.

In fact this the exact rule that I stickied up in the thread:

Just think of it as more explorative. We're just trying to cover all basis with the new growth in the site.

Just give it time and we'll see where it goes from there.

It's all right, Hendo. I used to do the same but they've pretty much taken over the site these days. Most Hit and Source Threads as I like to call them.

But isn't this LIMITING growth instead of expanding it? I just barely noticed this forum (which is wierd since supposedly I started a whole bunch of threads here) and so I haven't been posting here. But I'd rather have one highly visited forum then 5 rarely visited forums.

Its human nature. The more posts a forum has, the more likelier that people will post on that forum (Sinc they're more likely to visit it). Converesly the less posts a forum has the less likely that peopl will post there (We've all been to forums that get maybe 1 post a week. After visitng a few times we never visit that forum again).

I've noticed a definite drop in activity in the other forum, and I think this forum is the cause of it.

If we could combine both I think we'd notice a lot more postings. And the discussions would probably be much better.
