very buff!!! Did you see the size of his chest when he was in the Blue T-shirt up in the loft? :eek: Nice...very nice...real Superman physique. Another Superman-esque action was when he said to Lex "So will I." The look on his face and his tone...+1 Clarkie!

Well...maybe. I've noticed that he looks thicker this season. I didn't know if he was getting more muscular or just thicker. I didn't think he looked so "buff" in Aqua. In fact, to me, it's looked like he is a bit heavier in some of the episodes this season. Not that I'm criticizing. Perhaps it just those baggy shirts (not the tight t-shirts) along with that baggy jacket that he wears is making him look "thick". But again, you could be right. Buff not thick. Either way he still is pretty to look at especially in his funeral clothes.

I didn't want to say anything and accidently offend any Welling fangirls, but I've been kind of thinking that Clark's been looking a little....heavy recently. Like he needs to go to the gym and shape up a bit.

I too think he still looks really good. But he does look different. I can't put my finger on it. He almost looks like he's aged somewhat over the last few episodes (maybe to reflect his continuing grief over his dad's death). The makeup people have done something to him, I can't figure it out. I think it's his eyes.

Maybe they asked him to gain some weight. I mean...Superman is supposed to be pretty buff, not like that skinny one in Superman Returns. It isn't difficult for actors to control their weight if need be, so I think he's being allowed/asked to put on some more size so as to look the part of Superman.

I'm not sure but he did seem to tone his weight/build down some during the beginning of the season. It could be due to filming for The Fog that he needed a certain build for the movie, being an actor and all. If he doesn'thave any upcoming projects that dictate otherwise perhaps he's free to buff up again for his CK role.

Trust me guys, no way that the producers would let him start getting soft... he used to be a model- trust me- he is still working out, it definitely isnt thick, its buff

Ummm....I'm not an expert but men's bodies generally change between teen and 30's. He's definitly getting bigger and he's looking more like a man. A Superman! He looks strong and beautiful. Healthier!;)
