It's getting crazy. They really are headed for another fight, I know it. I bet they get into another fist fight by the season finale!!

I love the Clex tension. It's like just for a second you think Lex is telling the truth but then he turns around and stabs you in the back. :D Love it!

I know, I loved that. I though he was really telling the truth (like what usually happens), and then... there he is with the evil doc. :)

I'm sure it's just an act and they're really still in love. That's why Lex lets Clark keep a key to the mansion so that he can barge in and make stupid accusations and threats whenever he feels like it. This time it was fun to see that one of Clark's stupid accusations was finally right.

I like how contemptous and patronizing Lex was towards Clark. Loved the, "You can let yourself out" like he's not even going to pretend to be civil to the farmboy anymore. I was so tired of Clex scenes that had Lex groveling for Clark's approval and friendship that it's great to see Lex not give a crap about what Clark thinks of him anymore and to call Clark on his bad habit of bursting into Lex's mansion and accusing him of things. That was great.

I'm a bit concerned for Clark right about now. Yes, Clark is the stronger and more injury proof of the two. However, Lex has had a lifetime of honing his dubious skills such as manipulation, lies, deception, power trips, and he has a lot of money to make things happen and to make things or events appear any way he wants just as long as Lex is able to make Lex look good. On the other hand, Clark has spent a lifetime looking for the good in people, wanting the best for people, not wanting to hurt anyone, and trying to do the right thing. True, Clark has spent a lifetime lying, and we can all see how that turned out. He is a terrible liar. It is not in his nature to do evil or wrong (at least without redK). Lying is wrong and Clark is just plain bad at it. I see Lex as having the upper hand now. Clark needs to get some street smarts and fast.

You know, I thought Clark was supposed to be super-intelligent. You would think he would have a little more tact when approaching Lex about things. Maybe that way, he would be a little more successful at catching Lex in a lie. Don't they say to keep your friends close and your enemies even closer?

I agree! As much as I donīt like Lex now, cos he is a baddie after all, itīs nice to see that he is stepping up to the role of the bad guy the right way! No more groveling for Clarkīs approval, no more being weak, just pure evil! Go Lex, be the bad guy we all know and love to hate!

You know, I've been wondering, should we even consider Lex "evil" yet?? I mean sure, he's done some bad stuff, but he still hasn't quite taken that final step. "The Friend hasn't become the Foe". But he probably will become evil soon, considering the text from the trailers early this year. I say by the season finale he kills Lionel and turns completely!!

Jlandsw,
I agree. Lex is not pure evil yet. He's certainly getting there. But right now I'd classify him as "grossly misguided" and "ruthless at times" but not "evil". "Evil" is what Lionel was, especially in season three, and he may be right now, not sure on that yet.
I think they'll wait till the second half of next year for Lex to be officially "evil" (after all, it's the journey that's important. They don't want to turn him too bad too fast)

Eeek clearly they threw the super intelligence angle out the show when they made it! :D
Clark can do wrong or selfish things, he has already done so, and I like to see the moral struggles as he seems more realistic this way. Yes, he's ultimately an amazingly good person, but they gave him human like traits. I'd hate to see a perfect goody two shoes robot walking around.
