What's up w/ the RAIN?

Am I the only one who noticed when MB's car screeches up to scare Martha's Blackmailer, you can see rain falling in the headlamps... but during their 'chat', no rain (although you can STILL see it in the background in the light beams). Continuity problems? Or afraid to get the talent's coifs wet? Guess that wasn't in the contract... Not the 1st time, either. It happened in 'Lexmas', too.

ya I noticed it in Lexmas. Its also in 'Commencement' (sp?), Reckoning (check out the scene where Lana accepts and the snow. Its pouring behind her but not ON them, and they arent under a roof) and alot of others. It films in Vancouver and outside, which is right above Seattle. it rains ALL THE TIME.

The place them under a tent or a light tarp when its raining so they dont get soaked.

Yeah, I noticed that too and had posted about it promptly. Smallville certainly has been plagued by continuity problems. It might be that there's a problem getting competent help out there in Canada or perhaps those meteor/Kryptonian rocks are affecting the film and technical crew as well. :lol:

Vancouver being near the coast it gets alot of rain, more than other places. So alot of the time they have to hide/disguise the rain.

It's been done alot actually like in Truth and those episodes you mentioned.

I noticed it a lot in Lexmas. Maybe Vancouver is like Florida... it can rain on one side of the house and not the other, it's happened many times actually. ;)
