Lex's Mansion: Worst Security Guards Ever

Everytime I see Clark make sprise visit at the mansion and stomrs inside I always seem to wonder if Lex is going to take out a handheld notepad and write down.

"Memo to self: Fire security."

I mean it's like that all the time. People just walk in there and out without a peep from the people that are paid to protect him.

He must have Springfield PD protecting him.

Lex should post a few security cameras in the hallway and in his labs, and he would have picked up Clark superspeeding in a thousand times at this point.

I was thinking the same exact thing when I saw Clark just BARGE right into his office. Either....ANYONE can just barge into Lex's office due to VERY POOR security, or Lex has given his guards the "go ahead" to let Clark in since they have been friends for so long. Perhaps Clark is still on some sort of VIP list.

Luckily Lex is always in the same room.....EVERY episode, either behind his desk reading his 'evil' paperwork or drinking.

Clark just knows where to go, Lex doesn't use any of the 100 other rooms in the Mansion :D

There has to some sort of explination.

Even something like

"Mr. Luthor we tried to stop him, but I don't know how he got in."

"That's ok, Clark's just here to give me my 4 o'clock scolding again."

Or at least some sort of presence at least....

Heh. Yeah, these "evil" things Lex is starting to do are really just an invitation for Clark to stop by and shoot a game of pool like they did in the good old days.

Lex's security is of course hopeless, but in fairness to them, if Clark really wanted to get into someplace nobody could stop him anyway. Until Lex finds out about Clarks "allergy" to the meteor rocks... I suppose the stupid guards could at least shout a warning that Clark was on the way.

I've always wondered about Lex's security at the mansion. And why has Lex not installed cameras in and around the cave. Maybe he needs his future sidekick to suggest it. hmmmm

You'd think Lex would have cameras EVERYWHERE considering how many times Clark has "mysteriously" broken into places...like at his evil labs to catch Clark trying to bust out his FOTW's, or his mansion to catch Clark superspeeding around his security, or maybe even hook up a camera in Clarks loft to catch him doing all kinds of alien mischeif, etc. etc....Jeesh, for a genious, how can Sexy Lexy be so DUMB?! ;)
