Uh, didn't she have a Jeep Cherokee not long ago? And now (product placement?) a GMC? And what kind of credit? What are her payments? WHAT'S HER FREAKING INCOME?

OK, OK....but when Borg Dude stopped the car and crushed it....uh, airbags? The thing would have had airbags, and I think they just might have been deployed, huh? And even with seat belts the sudden stop like that could have broken Lana's shoulder, but she ends up with just a cut. Well, I can believe in a Farm Boy from Krypton, but there's a few things strectching the laws of physics here that I'm having trouble with.....

I thought she had a jeep liberty!? when did she get the GMC and how many more times can Lana get in those darn accidents.. Smallville sure spends alot of money on these cars.. haha

ya Lana had a jeep liberty in the exact same color.

the airbags were deployed in Lana's car when she hit Victor,and seatbelts dont always break shoulders,clavicals, etc. in intense impacts (otherwise they would do more harm then good) thats actually very rare, and usually on takes place in small children (just like airbags accidents)

this time...i actually thought the continuity with Lana's accident was pretty correct. and SHOCKER, Victor actually had time to take her to the hospital before just running off, thats what really made me go 'whoa, here is something new for smallville'

It's just funny in Cyborg, Lana'a airbags go off, but in Reckoning, they don't

Hmmm, I'll have to watch it again. I didn't see the airbags on first viewing.

OT here.....I've heard that the WB as a "network" is through and will be gone at the end of this season, though SV will indeed be picked up by the replacement. Any more info or threads on this subject?

Lana & GMC's don't mix... that's 2 she's trashed! And where's the product placement??? Allstate, Geico, Progressive!!! HELLO!!!!!!!!! Forget the payments -- where the HELL does she get insurance? Lana was hit from the side in Reckoning and most airbags are set to be triggered by wiring in the front of the car to release on frontal impact or being hit from behind. This is why they werent set off in Reckoning

If a vehicle (especially an SUV) flips, the tumbling will set off the airbags. But that would have hurt the scene (Reckoning)... Bad writing, pure and simple. But that was then... What am I saying? The writing hasn't improved that much...

I just realized the lanas Jeep liberty was not crashed....because clark replayed the day and then he stop the bus from hitting her.

I didn't watch lasts weeks episode..did she crash the jeep?

Yea, Lanas ballin'. Girls got money. Although being friends with Lex Luthor has it's advantages. Remember Lex tried buying Clark a new truck in the first season? Maybe its the same thing.

She's had the GMC all season I think. The funny thing is, Clark says something to Vic like, "So you didn't smash my girlfriend's Jeep?" Not even he can keep up with what she drives!
