No episode references that I noted, but I think this episode reminded me of Now and Again and The Six Million Dollar Man--both series in which the main characters were rebuilt as cyborgs.

There was an episode refrence that I noticed. Well, it was referring to a few,but I think it still counts. It was when Victor asked Clark why he is helping him, and Clark said somthing like "I have a thing about testing in labs". An obvious refrence to the many times someone has been been in a lab for some kind of crazy experiment.

i thought he said billion too...

and for the record i *loved* now and again so maybe that's why i liked this episode so much!
