Does Lionel still work for LuthorCorp?

Lionel offered Martha a helicopter ride in that first Mionel scene and then said he could understand if she felt as if she couldn't accept anything from LuthorCorp. I'm confused. Lex owns LuthorCorp now, how could Lionel have anything to do with the company?

And I have a feeling he's still scheming to take over it. We saw his true MB colors in "Vengeance" and I don't think he's any less devious in this episode.
