At first, as cool as that Cyborg guy was, and he was cool, I should read more Teen Titans comics or something, I never read anything on them; I was put off by some aspects of this episode. I posted a premature note about it under "Who writes this stuff?".
Don't get me wrong, I loved this episode, it's almost as good as Run, and it was way better than Aqua (Poor Aquaman, allways getting the short end of the fish stick). Not that Aqua was bad "bro."
But COME ON. How many times did Clark bust down Lexes Study doors with a
"What did you do Lex?"
"Nothing Clark."
"I don't Believe you."
"Believe what you want Clark."
"When are you going to learn Lex?"
Jezz. How many times in this epiode alone did Clark do that? 2-3 times? This season? How many times during the corse of the show? Only the Clana loft trust-talk scenes top this for pointless repetition.
And the dialog is allways forced in these Clark busting in Lexes study scenes, cus these guys really have nothing more to say. They hate each other. What does Clark really expect to happen? Does Clark really expect Lex to tell the truth? It's so sad.
And the Lana scenes with the Cyborg was weird too, especialy when she was talking about obvious mirrors to Clark and her.
It's not that they were cheesy, I can handle some cheese here and there. But some of the dialog seemed forced, or badly written, or even badly acted in some bits in this episode.
However, the quality shot way up in the second half of the episode. And that Last part about Lionel was awsome. What if Jorel falls for Mom Kent? What if Mom Kent dates Clarks Biological Dad in Lionels body?!
Cool stuff. It looks like Lionel was being Jorel for longer than I might have thought. Awsome. I hope to see the Cyborg, the Flash, and even Aquaman in one team up eppy sometime in the future.
So cool eppy, cool Cyborg guy, some weird bits and dialog, totally redemed in the end.
