when lionel first came to the farm they had the lighting really bright around him to make him seem angelic - looking...

i feel like all lionel needs to do to make his move into the kent home final is to start leaving the tiolet seat up and not putting the cap on the toothpaste. he basically has moved in! he and martha are almost glued at the hip, i thought that if i saw if drop by for a friendly chat one more time they would start making out. we all know that lionel has had feeling for martha basically since the first season but i must saw that i never though martha would actually act cordially towards him after all he has done to her family....thats what makes me feel as if i need to take a shower. that and the fact that i almost pissed my pants at that phenomenal ending...

it does feel kind of creepy with him and martha even more creepy then lionel in clarks body hitting on martha. its just we know his intentions and its sad she is falling for it. he acts like a creepy old man asking a little kid to come in his van to play with some puppies and eat some candy.

Actually, I think the clark-avoidance-principle is a valid comment, mainly because of the nice little Lion-El conversation with Clark in the FOS.

MB's secondary persona doesn't really want Clark asking any questions about the motives of what it is doing...

Lionel's an O.G. But I knew he was gonna twist Martha's feelings up and then we'll get to the season ender.. they'll be some reveal about what Lionel knew, when he knew (at least that could be interesting to watch)

At the end of the episode when Martha was looking at the photo of Jonathan and she was in front of the fire I seriously thought for about a half a second that she was going to throw it on the fire. Like, "don't need you anymore, I've got a new man now!"

I don't mind Mionel. I think they have done a great job over the seasons at conveying a mutual attraction, one that Martha would probably never act on. I'm just confused as to why she is calling him friend all of a sudden. Isn't this the same guy who was put in jail for murdering his folks? Didn't he try and blow Chloe up? Didn't he fry Lex's brain to cover up the above mentioned murder? Martha knows all of this! Did Lionel fry her brain too?!!

^^ That's my problem with Mionel, the way they're handling it. Mionel is one of the few het ships that I ship but I wish they weren't dumbing Martha down in order to make it work.

My gosh I thought the same thing. She looked like she was moving to throw the picture in the flames but iof course looking at what ship I support I thought ' Oh my gosh was there more on that dvd that showed Lois and Jonathan together! Err ok or maybe not....'
