I laughed when I saw Lana's car get smashed in. In Reckoning, her car was supposed to be totalled, so I guess when it wasn't the universe eventually had to find balance. So they wrecked it a few weeks later.
You see, fate just doesn't apply to humans, but it applies to GM cars as well. I guess the next thing that will go are the Ding Dongs Lois was supposed to eat

Isn't this the nth accident Lana has been in? I'd say the universe has been re-balanced several times over. Probably for all those times she was supposed to die but didn't.

Now THAT could be an interesting correlation:
Number of times Lana should have died vs. number of times Lana has wrecked her car, and the timing of the first in relation to the timing of the second.
This Karma Korellary could be applied to the Kents as well I suppose, Clark saving someone who should have died vs. Truck going kablooie.
Granted none of it was ever PLANNED, but the results could prove to be interesting...

Their destiny? To let us debate whether the ding-dongs or the muffins are the analogy. Muffins are nice and soft...but Ding dong have the filling...
