10 minutes to go....think'll they'll throw in a Teen Titans or Superfriends (Cyborg was in the cartoon with Supes) in?
they didnt!!, i was surprised, i was expecting something like this:
clark: jee victor you sure are a regular teen titan
victor: haha i guess clark *insert future JLA refrence here*
or something along those lines, i kinda wish they made a teen titans reference, i know some people didnt enjoy the JLA ones from aqua and run but i like them, they are clever :)

I was really hoping for a Titan reference. That would have clinched it for me :(

I was pleased not to see any corny inside jokes or JLA/Teen Titan references..it would have just cheapened the episode.

there were a few bionical man references: like lex saying, "I have the technology."
i also that that cyborg was too old to later become a teen titan.

I also thought that they would put a reference to future, but the tone of this episode did not allow it to happen.
Now I am glad that they did not do it since it would of have been weird at that point.

I thought I heard a six-million-dollar man reference or two, actually!
I have always enjoyed the little comic references... I didnt notice there werent any until I read this, and now I am just a little sad... but not much :D

I think there was... but it was subtle... and left royally to the imagination...
and I will freely admit... a HUGE stretch.
but didn't cyborg end up in the titans because of helping out Robin in an hour of need? (ala, clark's last line to him before he seen his girl.)

I was kinda expecting something like this:
Clark: But listen to me, you're still a teenager, no matter how titanous you are.
Definetly 6 million dollar man references.......
He cost 6 million if I`m not mistaken, plus I loved it when he was strapped in the chair waiting for the chip implant, I think he struggled in his restraints, and you heard the famous Bionic Man sound when he uses his bionics....... it was only a couple of seconds but I heard it ;)
you know which sound I mean?
too bad his bionics couldnt have made for a better episode..

Seeing that he's now made out of metal, I doubt that Victor will every really age. So he'll always look 19 and he can stay a Teen Titan forever.

Or perhaps:
Clark: So, think you'll ever get back to football? You'd be a regular Titan.
Victor: I think that'd be a bit unfair. Gonna try to find some of my old friends though. Be great to get the group together again.
maybe follwed by "Wonder what Gar's up to?" (Beast boy)

Any Teen Titan or JLA references would just sound corny.
I'm so glad that they didn't add a Teen Titan or JLA reference, yeah, it really would have cheapened the whole episode.

You know I thought Vic's black and purple outfit itself was sort of a sly reference to Beast Boy's getup. I mean it even lead me as far to wonder if it was possible they could pave way for a future episode involving Cyborg and Beast Boy's first encounter.

If there were any references, I'm glad they didn't make it blatantly obvious. It kind of gets annoying, especially in "Aqua."

Victor: "Hey Clark, I decided to go back into football. Wouldn't you know it, I was the first teenage wide receiver drafted by the Tennessee Titans."
Clark: "Who woulda thunk."

I was a little upset by the lack of references to TT and JLA. It would have really added some color to this dead episode.

I am glad there was no references after AQUA the amount of fuss people made about the refs. I am glad they didn't bother in this EP

What is with you people?! Clark saying that he's "not ready for the JLA". That's hilarious and clever, not corny!

He did reference this:
Clark: Is everything working alright?
Victor: I feel like a billion dollars. Which probably isn't too far off.

Meh. I liked Bart's joke in 'Run.'..."Maybe join a league or something."
The JLA joke in Aqua felt a bit forced. Like it was obligatory based on the line in Flash/Impulse episode.
Since the tone of the Cyborg character was a bit darker than The Flash or Aquaman, I'm pleased there wasn't anything too jokey in there.
