In the current issue of the mag, it interviewed the people who make up the cool extra ie website like The Chloe Cronicles and the Justice League game they said one of the things they worked on was a Chloe's Wall Of Weird site you had to go to the comic books to find the address and the password. Do any of you internet super heros know what the address and password is?
The site is suppose to have Chloe's unset letters to Clark.

The SM variant edition will be in comic stores tomorrow the 12th. The SM regular cover hits newstands Dec. 18. My comic store will put out both on the 12th. So I will be purchasing both covers.

Some may want to go ahead and call their newstand stores. A friend of mine called me today and said its on the newstand bc he got his copy this morning.

I know some comic stores got both in yesterday. I've got both covers and they are pretty neat. The Variant edition has Lana Lang on it and the NS has Clark and Kara.

There is an on the set interview with Helen Slater, Allison Mack, and Aron Ashmore. There's a separate interviews with Helen Slater, Dean Cain, Michael Cassidy, and Laura Vandervoot.

A before and after look at Lana Lang.

An interview with writer Holly Harold (Magnetic, Obsession, Lexman, Fierce to name a few).

And a short story "Quest" by Brandon T. Snider. It's actually a pretty good story. Sometimes I wonder why these folks who write these stories aren't writing for Smallville.

There are two covers:

The newstand issue which features Clark and Kara on the cover, you can get at places like Barnes and Nobles or Borders Bookstores. Or places that sell newstand magazines. Ebay is always a good place as well.

The Variant issue which features Lana Lang on the cover, you can get a your local comic book store. Some comic book stores will carry both the newstand and special edition. You can get the variant editon on Ebay as well.

I just cancelled my order for the mag. Lana on the cover did it. I'm sick of Lana and Lanaville and any more Lana is nauseating. So no more mags for me. The mag never has anything really good and it mainly pimps "Lois" and Lana like they were the best thing since sliced bread, an idea with which I strongly disagree. They use old photos repeatedly and often their description of things that happen on the show in no way reflects the reality I see. So they can keep their Lana and "Lois" are the greatest rag. I'm done with it and good ridance.

Most issues are the standard $9.95 (produced every two months - 6 a year adding to a total of $59.70... well worth it!). Some issues, such as the 100 page yearbooks, usually 2a year, cost $14.95. As for first ever issue - search E-Bay... some copies sell cheaper, but those in mint condition tend to go for about $15 upwards there, not including any postage costs.

It covers Chloe's Family, Friends, Love Life, Secrets, Relationships, How She Spends Her Time, How She Sees the World, and How She Sees Herself.
The introduction reads: Chloe's career as dedicated reporter and loyal friend has brought her full circle. We look at how she got from the Smallville High Torch to the Daily Planet, and from school friendships to adult loyalties and love.
Lots of nice pictures of AM. It's more about Chloe, rather than AM quotes.

Addition: AM does talk alot in the article Allison Mack & Kristen Kreuk SPEAK. Sample quote: " Chloe's figuring her powers out, and it's kind of fun because it's very similar to where Clark was in the beginning of the show, in that all of these new things are happening in her body that she's kind of unaware of how to handle or utilize".

I'm not a huge Pete fan but it was interesting to read his thoughts on the show and hear about all the other stuff Sam Jones III has done since he left the show.

I think what I have is a collection of all the posters, because this issue I'm talking about doesn't have a poster in it, but has pages in the middle that are like single page representations of posters I've gotten from other issues. I'm just wondering if it references the issue that goes along with each picture. It's a shot in the dark, but it may have it.

Can you please confirm this? I've been in contact with a few sellers on Ebay who are selling this issue and according to them, it's not in there. I'm TOTALLY confused, lol. I don't suppose I could talk you into scanning pages 24 and 25, could I?

Mark, I have Issue#20. That Pic is spread out over Pg 24 and 25. it is the beginning of an Article and it has huge white lettering below the JLA's waist. It says, The Future Justice League then there is a paragraph about the article. i don't think this is considered a poster. In the article there are 2 page pics and descriptions of each JL.

Is this the yearbook (100 page issue)? Is the image vertical or horizontal? I think the one I'm thinking of is vertical. Is there any way you could possibly scan it? That would be a HUGE help. But i understand if you can't...

Ohhhh I think I know what you're talking about. I may have seen that and that's NOT what I'm referring to. I'm ALMOST POSITIVE it's an actual pull-out poster. They include two in every issue if I'm not mistaken. This was one of them...

They were very good while they lasted. They were original Smallville stories. Each issue was the equivilent of an episode. I wish they still made them. There are novels too if you're interested. Just look on Amazon.

Are there ONLY 2 versions of each magazine? (newstand, variant) Most of them seem to have only 2, but I've found a few that seem to have more than 2. Does "variant edition, previews exclusive edition, diamond exclusive edition, previews variant" all mean the same thing?

I just got the new Smallville magazine. I enjoyed it, but the only thing I didn't like was the fact that, in the Top 10 Most Surprising Moments of S7, the Bizzaro shocker at the end of Gemini was number four. It should've been number one, because no one expected that. The number one "shocker" was Lex finds the FOS. But, if you watched the trailer, you knew that.

You are correct, but sometimes it doesn't matter what you pick they send you whatever they feel like it. That happened to me with the Buffy & Angel magazines. Also Titan is mighty expensive. May I suggest buffystore.com? The guy who runs it is VERY nice and his prices are cheap and shipping is fair.

I just received Smallville Magazine in the mail, and it has a lot of interesting articles. And here they are:


1) On page 7 it says: Executive producer Brian Peterson said in an interview with Omar Gallaga of Television Without Pity.com that there is hope for a season 9. Tom Welling is not yet signed for a 9th year as Clark, though producers are hopeful he'd return. Peterson said, "We're very hopeful we'll have Tom."

2) Supergirl Returns: Laura Vandervoort AKA Kara Kent will be seen in the independent movie The Jazzman in 2009. The Jazzman also stars Michael Ironside, who played General Sam Lane in the Smallville episode Gone.

3) Welcome Back Kristin Kreuk: Smallville Magazine says, "As you've seen, Lana's return couldn't have come at a worse time - not only is Doomsday on the rampage, but Clark & Lois are finally beginning to explore their feelings for one another. Will it stick, or will Clark & Lana get together yet again?"

4) No Lex... Yet: Smallville Magazine says, "Despite recent show revelations that Lex Luthor is still "out there," don't expect to see Michael Rosenbaum return to Smallville yet. Separate interviews with media outlets from the show's producers also reveal that there are no plans for Michael to be back this year, although "the door is open."

5) There is an article about Sam Witwer called, "Doom Monger - Sam Witwer." And Smallville Magazine talks to Cassidy Freeman. Smallville Magazine writes, "Femme Fatale - Cassidy Freeman, who plays a beautiful and calculating Tess Mercer."

6) A Smallville interview of the director Glen Winters: Smallville Magazine writes, "Winter's Tale: From director of photography on Smallville to director of some of its most memorable episodes, we talk to the multi-talented Glen Winter." This is a question-and-answer format interview.

Sam Witwer talks about the cast: "It was great! Everyone's really nice and it's a happy set. In terms of being the new guy, I've been that so many times, I'm used to it! You learn to make freinds fast and do your work. Allison Mack is just a sweetheart and so lovely and fun. She just gives you a lot to work off and is a very good actress. I was very happy when I learned I'd be working mostly with her."

11) What Cassidy Freeman says about Lois Lane: "Tess isn't there to make friends and I don't think Lois is somebody who can help me find Lex. She (Lois) likes to stick her nose in places where it doesn't belong. That's one of the reasons why I love about Lois, that she's so unabashedly curious. Lois will do anything to find out what she wants to know, and Tess has to put her foot down and say, 'You can't play dumb with me!'"

What Cassidy Freeman says about Clark Kent: "As for Clark, she sees him as a well of information. He could really help her if she can get him on her side; Clark's someone who's very capable. Tess wants Clark to be on her team, which is why she's so nice to him. She can't help but fall for him a little.

"In the scene where Clark's carrying me out of the burning building, Tom didn't know I had a comic book type line there. I'm supposed to be staring at him thinking, 'Oh, my savior,' and then I say this line. Tom looked at me with such a face of wonder like 'Whaaaaaatttttt?' He then slammed my feet into a parked burning car by accident. Tom was like, "Are you adding lines?' You talk when I'm holding you?" Of course, it was only my second day, and he thought I was just throwing in lines. Erica and I have a lot of fun together, too.

"Justin's one of the most charming, funniest guys I know. He's such a joy to be around. He keeps things very comfortable.Then the leeches day was a joke when Justin Hartley had them all over his chest. He kept saying, "I don't want them near my neck and ..." I think Justin was ready to vomit that day, but he's a real trooper.

"As for the rest of the cast, they've been so incredible. I always feel like people don't believe me when I say that, but I couldn't have asked to work with nicer people. I like hanging with them off set, and they've been extremely welcoming."


12) What Jessica Parker Kennedy says about the Smallville cast:


"Working with Allison Mack was amazing! She's such a loving person that the dynamic between the 2 of us made a lot of sense. I was new coming onto the show and she took me under her wing. Allison was so positive and helpful, and that's very much the relationship that Chloe & Bette have. Chloe sees her after the bus has blown up and has no idea Bette was the one who caused it. Chloe's there right away, along with Davis the paramedic, and lets Bette stay at Chloe's house, which is a huge risk considering Bette is this weird street kid. Chloe's very motherly toward Bette and wants the best for her.

"Sam Witwer and Tom Welling were absolute gentlemen, and I looked up to them very much. Sam has such a loving personality and is very easy-going. Everything's fun for him. Tom has this real groundedness to him. He doesn't have to raise his voice to be funny or kind. He has this wonderful essence about him that's really comforting to be around. There were scenes where I was feeling frustrated because things weren't going the way I wanted them to and Tom was so helpful. He said, 'When I am in that situation, I try this...' They were both so welcoming to me, and I felt like I fit in on the show."

I wish I knew how to scan the cover or at least the posters. Ginnyfan has Smallville Magazine, and she's pretty good at the computer. Maybe she knows how to scan the cover. I'll PM her.

Tom came into one of the production meetings and said, "This is a great script. The writing's really strong and all the dialogue means something. It's not in there for the sake of it, and I really appreciate that." It was great to hear him really sign off on it that way, because Tom always has a definitive opinion on the scripts in prep. He doesn't just read them the night before. He reads them, has script notes, will call with suggestions, and because he and I have worked together for so long, he'll give me a little more of his time and discuss things. That gives me ideas, and he'll tell me what he thinks about stuff...
