I looked around, but I didn't see this mentioned anywhere.

The second time around where Lex is chasing Lana in his car and she almost gets hit, what's the deal with Jonathan?

It looks like he slows down, sees Lex and Lana at the side of the road, and then continues driving.

Maybe it's nothing, maybe it showed something of significance, but I just found that scene a little wierd.

That 'slo-mo' shot was to show the viewers that at that point, something of significance occurred.

In the first timeline, Jonathan was driving back to the farm to meet with Lionel, but stopped when he saw the crash. Lana's crash then saved his life, because he didn't go to meet Lionel.

In the second timeline, with the crash averted, Lana's life was safe, but we are shown that saving Lana put Jonathan in jeopardy. Because there was no crash to stop him, he went to the barn, met with Lionel, had a heart attack and died.

The 'Slo-mo' look was to show us that the 'mark of death' had just passed from Lana to Jonathan.

Yep...still puts chills on me when I watch that scene too.

And yea, what better place to put my 100th post, than in the 100th episode discussion LOL
