I read the book, didn't see the movie, but I thought the book was cute, and had a good story of friendship, but, I don't know, it just felt too young of a storyline for me, too teenie bopperish

I read all of the books and as long as she keeps writing them (if she continues to which I really think they could keep going) I will keep buying them. Even though I'm much older than she intended her readers to be, I could identify with them from my memories;high school and dating. The movie is cute, but I don't think it beats the book.

The movie is it's own thing. It doesnt follow the book exactly. It's good, but books are just their own thing, anyway. Reading is a whole different experience than seeing a movie

I didn't know there was a book! But I watched the movie: the first time on a plane to USA (twice...I was bored!) and the second time at home!!! It's amazing! I love it!

You should really read the books then... there are 3 of them... they are really good and of course much more detailed.
