A victim is kidnapped and on the verge of being killed. Clark finds the location information just in time, so he super-speeds over. The victim gets knocked unconscious. Clark arrives and uses his power to save the victim and defeat the villain. Then the victim wakes up with perfect timing to not see Clark's powers.

How many times will we see that same thing in a Smallville climax?

It's borderline deus ex machina, and very-very overdone in Smallville.

LOL that's one of the rules of the smallville drinking game I created everytime some one get's knocked out so Clark can use his superpowers without being seen.

My question is how the heck can the murderer get stun-gunned and beaten over the head viciously with a vase to the point a normal person would likely have a cracked skull, and have no problem running downstairs and grabbing Chloe and tying her up, while Lois takes on ehit and gets knocked out.

The 'nurse' should have been unconscious from the start.

This the one time this actually happen since season 3. I don't recall it happening last year. But Chole actually saves the day this time:)

I kept wondering about that too. You would think with the two blows from the vase he would of had cracked skull at the very less and close to being killed as hard as Chloe hit him.

I have to disagree a little. I mean, who did Clark actually save at the end of this episode? Lois got knocked out, yes. Then Clark got Krypto-KO'd. It was Chloe-Gretchen (Chletchen?) who took out the psycho.

At least, that's how I understood things.

By the way, can anyone just walk in a newpaper building get on their computer and start looking things up without anyone asking? It was different when Clark was at school and worked for the Torch, but this is going a little to far.
