Once again Clark doesn't feel the effects of the K until he sees it.

The girl in the, clearly not lead, wall had on a bracelet with Green K in it, but of course Clark is unaffected until he sees it. I hate that.

Ya, and what happened when Clark became concious and asked Chloe if she was ok? Wasn't she still wearing the kryptonite bracelet?

Well, he couldn't have felt the effects that early, then he wouldn't have been able to punch through the wall and reveal the corpse:p

Maybe Clark has seasonal allergies!

Maybe he has to be a certain distance from it?? If he's far enough away he's not affected.
OR maybe the plumbing pipes were made of lead(the Talon is old), and they hid the K from him and once he broke through the wall the pipes protection was gone?? Ok don't laugh too loudly at these suggestions.

Maybe Clark is only allergic to kryptonite when the writers run out of ideas.

yea, i thought the fact that he wasn't affected when he came to in the basement was a total lapse

the bracelet was right there, like at his feet

funny how it didn't affect him then, but it did when he got knocked the fug out

Is it that hard to believe that maybe under the new coat of paint was an old layer of lead paint. The Talon is old you know, and she was put there over 10 years before or so.

Except wasn't lead paint banned in the 70's (or early 80's).

Besides that, Clark did see through the wall. He saw the skeleton, just not the bracelet. Unless the bracelet itself was made of lead. Would that make it invisible so to speak?

Yup, good point on him being able to see through it, never even thought of that. I'm so glad that people on here pay closer attention than I do the first time around.

About the bracelet being lead, I have no idea. I think he would still be able to see it though, maybe not the details of it, just the bracelet.

I thought the only thing that can protect Clark from krytonite was lead. If the talon had lead paint protecting the body then clark should be able to see through the walls. Clark can't see through lead

If a tree falls and no one sees it, does it make a sound? :\

If the wall was lead how did he use his xray vision to see through at it to the body??

Maybe the more he's exposed to it the less he's affected by it??

All I have to say is if Clark starts to promote Allegra for his Kriptonite allergies like they been promoting everything else. The TV is going out the door.

its not a bad theory but i always thought that as his life went on, it got worse. because remember in the first season he was affected by lana's necklace but not enough to make him collapse. just make him feel like he has a really bad stomach bug type of thing the way he always clutched his stomach when he was near her. or it made him clumsy (falling flat on his face in the first episode) it couldn't have hurt enough so that he couldn't even move like it does now..(only during certain occasions obviously)

Something I missed from the show is how this guy managed to put a dead body inside the Talon in the first place? On another note, at least the writers got the timeline correct when it's mentioned that the girl disappeared ten years ago, which is seven years after the meteor shower (1989), the earliest that someone could create a Kryptonite bracelet.

Just an observation.

It may have been the pipes that were made of lead. Aren't they usually anyway? Also, I've noticed that any thick wall seems to block the effects or at least make them not as strong.
