YES! My favorite thread thus far! I hope they'll get at least ONE scene together, like Lana "leaning on Lex" about Chloe's break with reality.

Please explain this to me like I am 2 year old.
Why does Lana constantly turn to Lex for help?
Does Lex really protray that level of honesty that Clark or anyone else does not protray?
Is lex the only person lana trusts?

Horrible scene.

Because Lex almost had her killed during that stones arc, yet its all forgiven. Clark tells a lie, and its over.

it's sooo unbelievably forced

it's just stupid to me, it makes no sense at all. but i think we already know these are not the best writers in the world.

Aww, I will try not to be that condecending!

As far as Lana knows, Lex has been more honest to her than Clark. Yes, he did cause her to die in Reckoning and snapped at her something fierce, but that got wiped out, neither one of them remember that.

She usually goes to Clark anyways, so its not like she always runs to Lex, he's usually her last resort, like the spaceship and meteor showers. Lana did talk to Clark first, its been suggested that she talked to Chloe but we didn't see it onscreen, but Chloe mentioned what Lana saw to Lex in "Mortal", but they didn't tell her squat so she turned to Lex, which brings them closer and closer through the eps..which brings us to "Vengeneance" when Lex tells Lana when she needs someone to lean on he's there...So what does she do? She leans. :D

Either way, the writing is bad...everything is coming off as way too forceful.

Can't comment on Tomb yet, I still got 25 minutes until it airs, but IMO the Lexana thus far hasn't been too forcefull. Lexana has been very real and present ever since season 1 episode 2 Metamorphasis and has grown stronger and stronger through the seasons.

yea, it was what...a few months ago when Lex tried to use Lana in order to get that artifact in the season finale??

like Rafael said....it's just way too forced, because it's so illogical

RP - you haven't watched it? Oops...sorry for spoiling it for you then!

But trust me, unless you're a really big Lexana fan, your opinion might change on it. Again, I don't mind just as long as its countered with Lois, Clark, and Chloe and the writing for Lexana isn't so horrible.

no... he's just richer! After all, as far as Lana knows, Lex is much more powerful than Clark.

I dont know, i think the writers are bringing along the Lexana nicely. When lana was in trouble, she ran to Lex, not Clark. Big change.

Thing is, Lana wasn't in trouble and for some UNKNOWN reason, SHE felt that Chloe going to Belle Reve was best for Chloe. Mind you, Lana is not related to her in any way, shape or form. You don't do that in real life either....a bunch of bull poopy.

Well actually, Lex wanted Lana and her little stone too. Thats what was pounded into our heads in the Lex/Lionel scenes both in Forever and Commencement....

Lex: "If anything happens to Lana, you'll be begging for an end like that!"

Lex: "I'm WARNING you, leave her alone."

MB also has some good quotes about how Lex is goes into the mouth of the dragon to protect the princess..but I don't remember how he actually put it to quote it.

Lex wants both power [the stone] and love [Lana], but when he came straight down to it, when he had to choose, no way around it, he choose power [the stone]. If Lexana were real people i'd tell Lana to run away...but its a TV show, and that stuff makes good TV to me. :D Who knows, maybe Lana will go dark with him in the end. :p

ah, you're missing the point

there's always been this creepy vibe coming from Lex, to Lana

but from Lana to Lex?? uh.......no

that's the point of what i said - in the season finale, Lex was tryin to hijack the stone from Lana, all smooth like

did Lana forget about that?

I always thought that Lex liking Lana, while perfectly obvious to why he liked her, I always thought that them together would be uber creepy.

Lex just wants to "pluck Lana's succulent fruit".

Lana's succulent fruit = Eve's apple

It all makes perfect sense now.

Ha, and I bet you all thought I was going to make some perverse comment about how all men (and some women) want a piece from that fruit bowl. :o

Lex is a whiney little B****! I think before he and lana can get together he should take his testicles outta his momma's purse...

I think you mean, Daddy's European Carry-All. It was Jason that kept his testes in his mother's purse.
