According to HDTVTwinCities.com forums, Ed J, from KMWB has announced:

Sometime Thursday Feb 9 we will be turning off our digital transmitter to perform the power upgrade modification. We anticipate being back on Friday Feb 10. We don't have specific times but we will try to keep it to a minimum. Once the mod is started we will not be able to turn back on until it is complete so we will miss the prime time WB feed for Thursday night. We apologize for any inconveniences.

Man that really sucks for the people living in that area but hopefully you will still be able to catch the episode at some point. Maybe they will be nice and show a repeat over the weekend.

I didnt really notice any differance cuz I have a standard tv. My friend which is a tv guru at best buy is all about hd couldve told me in a second, but hey if its not in black and white and or full of static its good enough for me.
