Jack has done the music for the new Curious George movie. So the soundtrack for that movie is also Jack's new album. He collaborates with a bunch of his friends like G. Love and Ben Harper. If you like sick acoustic music with awesome lyrics check it out. The album is called Sing alongs and Lullabies.

Another great song on this album is a cover that Jack does of "We're going to be friends", which some of you may recognize from Napolean Dynamite. Its the song that plays during the opening titles. The song is written by the White Stripes.

I've listened to some Jack Johnson recently, he's a very talented musician. Haven't heard the new album though.

If you're unsure about you should preview some of the tracks on Itunes. Check out the single upside down.

Imo On and On is his best album followed by Brushfire Fairytales. But all 4 of them are outstanding.

I love Jack Johnson! My brother got me hooked on him. I love "Taylor" and "Sitting, waiting, wishing" and "Where have all the good people gone?"

The "Taylor" video is funny - it features Ben Stiller.

Brushfire Records (Jack's record label) has just released a the debut album from Matt Costa titled "Songs we sing". Jack isnt featured on any of the tunes but you can tell that Costa is heavily influenced by him. Matt Costa sang with Jack on his new Album sing alongs and lullabies, the song is calles Lullaby.

If your a fan of Jack and his friends (G. Love, Ben Harper, ALO, Donovan Frankenreiter) then I suggest you pick up Matt Costa's debut album.

Today (April 18, 2006) Brushfire Records (Jack's label) released a new Album by Animal Liberation Orhcestra. Its called Fly between Falls. Its their first widely released album and Jack appears on one of the songs. I'm going to be honest and say that ALO isnt for everyone. They are more earthy than Jack and his friends but its still a great album and one I've been waiting for. The lead singer of ALO appears on Jack's new album "Sing alongs and Lullabies". For more info on ALO go to ALOmusic.com.

I reccomend this album to all the fans of Jack but it is earthy and somewhat jammy so know that.
