Remember this show, that was one of my favorite shows of all time.I loved it when they would always get into a dogfight with other jet fighters at the end. That music they played was so awesome.Boy it must have been really expensive to have made that tv show back then and get that helicopter to do all those things.Airwolf is like my hero, that copter was so incredibly cool. Too bad it didnt stay on longer.I really liked Jan Michael Vincent in that role as Stringfellow Hawke. I just learned a couple years ago that the reason the show got cancelled prematurely like it did was because Jan Michael Vincent got into drugs and alcohol and by the end of the 3rd season he had got to the point where he could no longer remember any of his lines.I always wondered why that show got cancelled so soon since the ratings were so good, now I know.By the way, feel free to post photos of that copter if you can find any.:)

Yeah I loved the show. The helicopter didn't actually do all those things, they had one all fiberglassed up in the "attack" mode and a regular one for the "civillian" mode. They used special effects for all the transformation shots. I joined an Airwolf fan site, but I forget the address and my screenname/password. They have lots of pictures of the choppers and how they made all the weapons for it.

The helicopter they used was a BellJet 430. It has the side 'wings' (they used one in X-Men) but the guns were fake.
I've still got some episodes of this on very grainy VHS.
Oddly enough the theme tune was one of the first things I learned to play on the keyboard and guitar. (just try it, it's not that easy!)
