"Closer" still would've been a better title.

Ever since the title from the spoilers changed from "Closer" to "Lockdown" people stopped speculating the meaning of the title. Well I guess now Closer just meant Lex and Lana getting closer, as well as Clark getting closer to losing Lana.

I think they changed the title because they didn't want people getting it confused with the TNT series, The Closer.

Actually I liked the title 'Closer' more, it can have multiple layers of meanings.

"Lockdown" has multiple meanings too. It means that Lex is trapped within the panic room and forced to reveal the whereabouts of the ship. Clark is trapped and forced to reveal his secret to Lana. Lois is trapped and forced to take the blame for taking money from Lionel.
