Video Technical Help Thread

This is a thread where questions about making music videos can be asked and hopefully answered.

First off, some programs fellow K-siters have used and/or recommend:

-Sony Vegas, Latest Version is version 6. Download TRIAL

If the above links don't work or are no longer the most recent version then please do an internet search for the program.

Most of the software will require a fee to get the fully licenced software. Please do not ask or post where you can illegally download free copies of the software. Any talk of downloading is strictly prohibited and will result in banning.


Finally, once youre done with the vid youl need somewhere to host it. Some of your fellow k-siters have recommended the following file hosts:

I accidentally posted a duplicate video in the Fan-Vids section. One with the link, which is the one I want to keep and another without link.. I went into the unwanted post and went to edit (which highlighted says "Edit/Delete.. Ok when I go there it has nothing that says where to delete. I ask another person and they said there should be a icon that says SAVE and then next would be GO ADVANCED and then DELETE and CANCEL. But the Delete part isn't there.. I have the one on with the link and already getting feedback, I just want the other off of there.. Maybe during your upgrade something was left out, but I doubt it. Probably just me..
