Whitney (Eric Johnson) is back... or is it Tina (Lizzy Caplan), the shape-shifting girl from "X-Ray?"

Eric Johnson makes his final Smallville appearance.

Someone needs to fix that, because it's no longer his final appearance. He shows up in a flashback during the teaser for Facade.

yeah The thing I didnt like about him being in Facde though was how much older he looked there. I didnt even recognize him at first and wasnt even sure it was him till he popped up under the guest names after the credits

But in Facade they did a good job on making Clark look younger. he really almost looked like he did in season 1 in my opinion. Lana didn't completely look younger in that scene but she did a little bit. i need to watch that episode again, or at least the opening scene.

Eric Johnson's performance was great. I wish they'd made him a recurring character instead of killing him off.

i have a question....well, more of an observation. In this episode, Clark says that Tina knows about his weakness to kryptonite/meteor rock because she used it against him in 'x-ray'. But she didn't use it against him. She had lana's necklace in the pocket of whitney's jacket she was wearing, and then she took off the jacket and threw it aside, and then clark finished her. she would have had no idea that the necklace was doing anything to clark.

so why in this episode did they say she knew about the kryptonite, and why did she know about it?

I liked this episode. Eric did a great job, and the last scene with Clark and Lana was sooooooo sweet.

I loved most of this episode, but when Tina gets killed her line about lana was really lame. That is pretty much the only thing i didn't like about this episode.

This episode was saweet as. I really liked it. Dam Tina returns and starts to take over again. The best bit i liked was the beggining of the episode. Were Clana were working on the broken water pipe and it busts drenching them in water. The look on Lana's face was classic...she wanted him bad!! But yeh the episode was worked nicely considering i actually thought Whitney was back and this annoyed me coz Clana were starting to get closer. But im glad she got spiked in the end and the comment she made just before she died gave me the full impression that Tina was a lezzo. Anyways great episode and again one of Season 2's best :D

VISAGE:

I really liked this episode a lot. I liked the script, the acting, special effects. It was a great episode.

1) I liked the part when Clark Kent was able to fix a leaky faucet, without ever calling a plumber. Lana asks Clark how he was able to fix it. Clark Kent replied to Lana, "I just kept twisting and turning and it stopped."

I loved Lana's quote:

Lana: "Maybe one day I'll figure out how Clark Kent does the things he does."

2) I liked the scene where Lana and Chloe are talking (in Chloe's bedroom). Lana was talking about Whitney.

She tells Chloe, "The thing with Whitney is that what you see is what you get. You know, no mysteries, no deep dark secrets."

Chloe answers Lana, "Unlike someone we know." (Of course, they were talking about Clark Kent).

3) The best quote from Tina Greer: "I finally figured out who Lana wants to be with. It's gonna be easy to become you, Clark. You have the perfect life. Great parents, good friends, and most importantly, the girl of our dreams waiting for you to finally make a move."

4) The best quote from Clark Kent & Jonathan Kent:

Clark: "I just can't help thinking that... Whitney's skin wasn't bulletproof. His bones weren't unbreakable, but he still put himself in harm's way so the world could be safer. I wonder if I didn't have my abilities if I'd have the same kind of courage."

Jonathan: "Son, there is no doubt in our minds that you would."

5) My favorite Scene:

The Lana and Clark scene (inside the Kawatche Caves):

This was a very sad scene. Kristin did a great job crying. This is one of her best acts on Smallville. (She was also great on the episode, Skinwalker). Everytime I watch this episode and this scene where Lana is crying, I start to cry.

Clark: Lana.

Lana: I called your house. Your mom said you were down here.

Clark: I am so sorry.

Lana (crying): I never should have sent that video.

Clark: Don't do that to yourself.

Lana: He was missing in action, fighting for his life thinking that I wasn't there, that I didn't care.

Clark: It's not your fault.

Lana: It seems like every person that I've ever gotten close to just leaves.

Clark: That's not true.

Lana: Yes, it is. My parents, Nell, now Whitney. I know I haven't been a good friend.

Clark: You've been a great friend.

Lana: No, I have doubted you, accused you of things, and still you're here protecting me. I don't care if you have secrets, Clark. You are the one good, constant thing in my life and I don't want to lose you too.

Clark: I'm not going anywhere.

Great episode! Great acting from Kristin Kreuk. One of Kristin's best!

I enjoyed this episode a lot as well. It was probably one of the first episode to bring back characters that have not been used in a while (Tina Greer, Whitney Fordham)

The Clark/Lana scenes in the beginning and the end were great

Kind of ironic how Lana said Clark was the only constant, and he says he isn't going anywhere, and then at the end of the season, leaves for Metropolis, but comes back.

Thanks

I love this episode, it's sooo sad, poor Whitney, I kinda hated him during season 1 but he died a hero :( As for Tina...the whole crush in Lana was reaaaaaally creepy, I thought she hated her but it turned out completely different, I felt sorry for her about the way she died.

that is one thing that really bugs me about that episode because you're completley right.. but anyway about the episode I think Tina is saweeeeet and she is one of my absolute favorite villains/fotw she is so b.a. her lana obsession is soooo creepy i'm glad they brought her back again.. but i'm sad whitney died i really didnt like him like all season 1 and then very late season i started liking him and he left and then they kill him off. OO but i was sooo relieved when i found out it was tina and not whitney because i really didnt want them to make whitney evil ... its kinda funny in the first seasons all you want is some clana and whitney to just get our of the way .. but by s7 whitney is the kinda guy lana really needs after all her drama

Anybody else notice Evangeline Lilly in the Talon when Lex goes there to talk to Helen.

No I didn't see her & I've just seen this episode again tonight :D

I forgot how much I liked this episode, with Whitney & Tina returning. Tina appears as Chloe, Lana, Jonathan & Clark were all funny scenes, and the fight between Clark & Tina/Clark was awesome.

The end scene with Clark & Lana in the caves is one of my favorite Clana moment, and the song Mad World goes perfect with it. Kristin did an awesome job in that scene

I think she did, as she threw Clark through that shop window (when she was Lex).

Oh that's right... Thanks Gordon. I actually wish they hadn't killed her off. She was the creepiest of the meteor freaks... I would have liked to see her come back with a vengeance against Clark... lol

I just finished re-watching the episode. I was thinking during the final battle that it was probably one of the longest physical fights Clark has had with the possible exception of his fight against Titan.

Why don't you wonder why Tina-as-Lana was at the School accidently at the same time Pete and Clark start talking about Clark's weakness to Kryptonite/Meteor Rock, and just a bit after that Tina-as-Lana walks out of a class - I think she was spying on Clark or something like that :)

9 Out of 10

firstly, Hatsoff to the story writers becuz they've done really well on this episode. The re -occurrence of Tina (one crazy villain who can change into anybody and loves Lana) and also another season1 character Whitney, I love the whole part of this episode, and the Lana feelings in the cave..they way they've busted out, the pain of whitney's death and also her love of Clark!!

Didn't like this episode. I prefered Tina in season 1, when she thought her life sucked and that Lana's was perfect (and desired to kill her and planned to take over her life). I could actually believe that motivation, as the world's full of people, who (often wrongfully) thinks that someone else, has got a better life, then them.
In this episode, she just came back, as another Lana obsessed stalker. Not to mention, that due to this episode, the most visible LGBT character, to ever appear on this show (the only other two, that I can think off, were one-scene characters, in seasons 3 & 7), was a psychotic, teenage serial killer (can't be the only one, who's got a problem with that).

I couldn't stop laughing at the scene where Tina (Lizzy Caplan) disguised as Chloe is flirting with Lana.

Rewatching this episode today. One line made me laugh. "One day, she was a pioneer for women, and the next, she's a glorified seamstress." Was Chloe predicting her future on the show? Replace "seamstress" with "Watchtower."

this is one of those episodes in which almiles reminded all of us of how everyone loves lana and how perfect she is. not only do all the men in smallville fall for her but the women do too.
