What is the magnetic pull this new FOTW has over Lana? And which Luthor steals one of Chloe's computers from the Torch office?

Notable Guest Stars: Kevin Zegers as Seth

This is the one where Lana dates Seth, the fotw who's power was magnetic attraction, and they go to a fair at night and ride the ferris wheel and then they start to do evil things because he's influencing Lana with his magnetic powers, and Lana steals from the Talon and then gets put in jail but breaks out and then there's a showdown with Clark. It's a really dumb, boring episode.

Wow this ep completely fell off my radar. I cant remember it at all

Yeah I still dont remember it. The only scene that is in my head at all is like Lana up ith the dude in the ferris wheel and Clark is talking to them from the ground or something but its only like a picture in my head and not a scene. I just totally dont know what that was about at all.

The one cool scene is the heat vision melting the road. That is the only scene worth mentioning from this piss poor episode. Magnetic and Resurrection were the only two episodes that I really didn't like from S3. The rest were all ranging from decent to awesome.

I do not really like this episode but i do not think it bad either. it has a few good scenes in it and it is better than some of the season 4 episodes.and plus seeing Lana go "bad" was kind of interesting. and it was funny at the end when she was in a janitor suit mopping up the medical center.

come on, this episode is not too bad. its not the best but it really isn't that bad of an episode.

i kind of liked it. but the ending showdown between Clark and Seth was kind of lame though.

It sucks, I don't see anything redeeming. Gave horrible messages and put me to sleep.

The only thing that was even remotely redeemable about this episode was the Chloe and Lex scenes and that's only because they helped to set up "Shattered".

It was alright but nothing sensational, I agree. I liked the melting of the road too

His powers were cool, he could have been more powerful if he had more time to explore his powers and/or if he stayed in that MRI longer.

Magnetic was a completely terrible and forgettable episode....
except for the KISS . Yes, the amazing CHLARK kiss where Chloe just grabs her man and sucks his tonsils out! Having seen that kiss and Clark's shocked look....I am more convinced than ever that he kissed her back in Vessel. Compare the two and it's obvious.

Yah thats what I thought too. Did you see the look clark had on his face after the kiss he looked like he wanted that to happen but he wasn't sure of his feelings. If I'm not mistaken he also looked a little proud of himself.:p

This episode isn't horrible, but it isn't anything special. i did like the part where clark melts the road, but that is pretty much all i can remember.

I really did not like Lana in this episode. She really wanted Clark to be jealous of Seth even though Clark is the one that broke up with her. The end of this episode showed why I don't like the way Lana is in romantic relationships. She acts like she is an adult instead of a teen. She acts like she is going to marry these guys instead of just having fun as a teen in a teen relationship. She is too angst ridden and intense. I don't see how she ever enjoyed her teen years.

I liked the kiss between Clark and Chloe in the medical file room. After the kiss, Clark acts like he had been molested by Chloe:)

Umm the whole point of a relationship is to be with someone who you want to spend your life with, love and care about have care about you. Every actual valid relationship should end in marriage cause that's the point of them.

No offense and all but only a moron goes in say Hey I want to be with you cause I can't see me caring about you or this actually going anywhere. hanging around with the opposite sex just to kiss and bang them is not a relationship.

You're blaming her because she didn't want to just bang guys and be promiscuous she actually want to care about someone and have them care about her. That's just not right.

This episode is hated on because Lana actually makes really valid points against clark and for lan a haters Clark is perfect and she cannot do anything right.

This episode has brilliant acting by KK, cool effects, One of the best FOTW ever, etc. Its worth it just for KK acting and the Freak, but god forbid Lana catch a break from the blindness the haters have.

I'm sorry, but in my teen years I was not looking for anyone to marry. I was having fun with friends, dating and enjoying life. Also, I did not have sex out of wedlock, so maybe that is why my relationships were not so intense. Every guy I ever dated is still my friend. They said I was different than most girls they dated and I guess I was.

KK is cool, but Lana is too intense. I am not a Lana hater. I just hate the way her character was loused up by the writers.

I just like this episode for the incredible hot Chlark kiss! :D
I can't get enough of these two...
Overall this episode is nothing but a filler, but that KISS really saves the day.

Oooh, you and me both, Jill. That one moment probably bumped this episode from being a 5/10 to a 8/10 for me, LOL! I'm also a Chlarker, all the way!

I think the thing I remember the most from this episode is the ending Clark/Lana scene

paraphrasing stuff

Lana: even though he was a psychopath Clark, he told me his secret

Talk about laying on a guilt trip

Yeah here we go with that ******** again. Lana and her "secrets"!

Indeed, that was pretty ridiculous. There's a website I found that listed the number of times Lana kept secrets or told lies, and it was dozens, so her saying that is pretty ridiculous as far as double-standards go. And she should've been WAY more grateful to Clark for bailing her out AGAIN, and saving her from a meteor-infected lunatic. I don't know which was worse -- her treatment of him after this stupid "Seth" deal in "Magnetic," or after the "Ian" debacle in "Dichotic."

It seems alot of times in Season 2 + 3 Lana brought up the "secrets" guilt trip. I am just rewatching all seasons from the start. The first season it was never an issue but S2E1 Vortex, Lana lays on the " you got to tell me your secret or else" line for the first time then they came rapidly and fast. Some worse then others(as you pointed out with Magnetic and Dichotic)
