Pete finds the spaceship, and wants to tell everyone all about it. Clark must decide how to get the ship back, and also has to decide whether or not to let him in on the truth.
Pete finally finds out the secret in this one!

Another outstanding episode. There were not that many episodes that focused on Clark and Pete, but this is definately the best "Clete" episode and one of my favorites from S2. The super dunk at the end is one of the best scenes from the entire show, and I thought they did a great job on the reveal to Pete, unlike with Lana in Reckoning. The dialogue in this episode was really good too. I especially liked when Clark told Pete that he could not let anyone die to protect his secret. Very Superman like. The follow up quotes were awesome too. "It's not easy being you is it?" and "I think what my dad's trying to say is...welcome to the family".
I really like this episode, unfortunately it also highlights some of the weaknesses of the series. Sam Jones can either completely nail his line readings and delivery, or he can whiff. He doesn't really have a middle ground. There are a couple big moment/lines where he whiffs badly. But there are also some of his best scenes in the entire series in this episode. Especially when he confronts Clark about the ship missing from his shed.

i loved how Pete discovered Clarks secret. how he found the ship and everything. This episode is one of the best of season 2. and i like the ending when they're playing basketball and Clark super jumps and makes the slam dunk with the "its just an ordinary day" song playing in the background

Yes it is. Tom did a really good job in this episode of playing "oh, God, please don't kill me" when talking to people in this one. With Pete flipping out over the entire alien thing, and the edging away from Jonathan when he's telling his parents that he told Pete.

This episode was Sam Jones III's best performance in the series and it was the best Pete-centric episode. Others like "Craving", "Rush", "Velocity", and "Forsaken" just didn't match up to the quality here.

It did good that Pete was the first friend to find out the secret. Too bad he was so misused. No wonder why he left the show.

Did anyone else notice this: when they're at that place with dr. hamilton and pete is helping clark up to get away from the kryptonite, right before they're out of the camera's view you can actually see tom starting to laugh!! it's hilarious!

This was a pinicale episode for Smallville IMO, Clark telling Pete his secret. Im glad he told Pete rather than someone else. Pete's reaction was expected and the way he recovered to beleive in Clark was awsome. I enjoyed this episode for that sole reason and the rest was meh ordinary. Important episode and a good one aswell

Good episode. The discovery of the ship/secret was well done. It was nice that Pete was the found to find out that secret, it gave him a more important part in the series. I'm not a Sam Jones fan, but his character was not used at its full potential.
Best line of the episode?
Lionel to Dr. Hamilton: For all I know this could be a postmodernist coffee table.
LOL. Gotta love Lionel.

I still don't know what happened to Dr. Hamilton, did he died? or scaped? or something?
Anyway, it was a cool episode, and I love to see Lionel blind for the first time.

If you slow down the very end of the scene with Clark, Pete and Dr. Hamilton where Pete is trying to help Clark get up....just as Tom is leaving the scene, you can see him crack up laughing. It is humorous indeed.

This was an okay episode I watched it yesterday too. I love Pete's reaction to Clark telling him the truth. And I actaully liked the part where Clark and Lana were in the barn because what she said was so true.

I did not like Pete's reaction regarding Clark telling him the truth. The way Pete acted is the reason why Clark never wanted to tell people about his true self in the first place. Also, Pete was allegedly upset that Clark did not trust him by telling him the truth earlier. Pete should have understood that it was not Clark's desire not to be honest but his parent's fear of people knowing about Clark was the reason why Clark could never let anyone know. It was not just Clark's secret but also his parents. I don't like that Pete blames Clark for the way that his parents raised him. Clark had no choice.

This wasn't really my favorite but it was still good. I loved all the Pete and Clark scenes and the Lana and Clark scenes. And then the funny one where Lana lied to Nell about sleeping over Chole's.

I love this episode. However, one thing still bugs me to this day when I watch it.
Near the beginning of the episode, they establish how heavy the ship is. Yet Dr. Hamilton who only has one good arm at this point (due to prolonged exposure to the meteor rocks) is able to steal the ship himself out of Pete's tool shed with no help? How in the hell could a one-armed man move that heavy ship all by himself? Makes no sense.
Other than that, great episode.

9 Points, What a cool episode
Love the line “ Every Arthur needs his Merlin”
Probably one of the best quotes from the show ever..!!
Doctor Hamilton is gone? Or he returns again as freaky villan?? Whatever!! The day is saved and the hero of the day is “Pete”, Now its going to more interesting to see how Pete will manage to hide his best friend secret. And the other side Lana is getting more suspected on Clark.. but i am glad Pete was the first person to know clark secret, Pete was never get too much attention in the show.. Now i really see he got something do with the show now..!! Go Pete!!
