hi guys, this is my first time in rthe forum for this episode bcuz i just had too mush to say after i saw it to say anything at all!! (mostly complaints)

But most of all i feel Time after Time by Eva Cassidy should have been played for the funeral like it was played for whitney's dads. I can still picture the shot when lana looks back at clark at whitneys funeral!!

PS: i hated Martha's hooker boots too!

I agree with you..... Time After Time would have been the best song for JK's funeral

i have to disagree. not that i think it's a bad idea but because to me, whitney's dad's funeral was perhaps the best scene in all my years of watching tv.

that song was meant to be between clark and lana.

i think using it for any other purpose would be wrong.

If I were to choose a song for that scene, it would have been Leonard Cohen Hallelujah. But that's not hip enough for this show.

I grieve was a great song to use IMO touching, for me time after time would have been a better funeral song for Lana

TIME AFTER TIME WOULD BE A GREAT PICK FOR THE FUNERAL....JK WOULD HAVE BEEN HAPPY IF THAT SONG WAS PLAYED

No, "I Grieve," is just a beautiful song. I love Time After Time as well, but I Grieve was this calm, soothing, but sad element to it that felt perfect for the end.

That is one thing in this episode I won't complain about. :)

They've already used Time After Time. I'd rather see JK get his own song, not a recycle. And I agree that I Grieve is beautiful.

I liked the song, it was very solomn. I think it seemed a bit too low. My pick would have been "When September Ends" by Greenday....but the end sequence would have needed to be rewritten a little bit to fit the song.

How about the song, "Don't Worry Be Happy" lol
