Foreshadowing of JK's Death

Okay yeah. I'm a writer so I tend to look at things to the very detail. I don't know if there is already a thread on this but..

Did anyone catch the line JK made right after Clark told his parents about tell Lana his secret? Something along these lines...

"You don't need me to tell you what to do anymore."

Yeah, I did catch that. Right away I was just like "uh-oh". I mean, I was already pissed because Lana obviously wasn't going to die, what with her marrying Pete in the future. Not that I HATE Lana, but her part on the show is limited, and not much would have changed without her.

yeah, that is when JK's death became a certainty
