Anyone else happy that clarks is finally taking the big steps to becoming Superman. From them talking about why working at the daily planet is so important, and clark using his powers more and more, and clark even admitted that he wants to start helping people. IDK about anyone else, but when he said that to chloie at the daily planet, it hit me real hard, cause he always hated his powers, and he finally said he wants to help everyone. Just seems like a real big step thats being overlooked

You know, it is not going to be a complete 180 all at once. I'm sure there will still be moments when it is hard for Clark to embrace his powers and his destiny and he will buck against them from time to time. However, I think we'll see a steady move in the acceptance and usage for good direction.

They've done it more than once and what's going to stop them from doing it again?

i think with his dad gone clark's going to move forward to become the man his dad wanted him to be.. in honor of him...i think that will be one of his driving forces

It's a heck of a price to pay to finally come to grips with who he is. Even Lana said she knew how close Clark was to his Dad. I definitely felt his anger/grief when he was trying to work on the tractor and his strength just shattered the tools and parts...with all his powers he could make the tractor run like his Dad could....

You know, all this hinting, and thowing in subtle reasons why Clark should wear glasses, and why he should work at the DP, amount to much less meaning, unless they actually follow up on it, by having Clark impliment these things sometime in the next couple of episodes. They are teasers only. It is not like Clark is going to go, "How to get around the mask, how to get around the mask, Wait! I got it! 5 years ago, that chick did it! That's a good Idea, wear Glasses!"

Clark may be growing up, but is he getting any cleverer?

He was pretty clever this past week. Snatching the cell phone with superspeed, as opposed to brute force, thinking of calling the pizza place to backtrack the address, thinking of the mugging scene to draw out Andrea. He was using the ol' noggin.
