Ok, first he is bad, then seems good after reviving Clark in Mortal because of the Jor-El presence. Then he stayed good for a while, or "acted" good.

Then he seems bad....but did you notice something he said as he and Clark stood near the window.

"THANK YOU SON"

Now, I know many older folks use "Son" when talking to a man younger then them...but that seemed like it had some hidden connotations behind it.

Then he is trying to WOO Martha.

ARGH! I wish I could understand his motives.

Perfect post Jag5311. I used to love to watch Lionel but now he is just to confusing and when they give him screen time....I tend to think about re-arranging my closet or something.

Is he good, bad? Does Clark think its odd he has three fathers? Think about it. One died many years ago, one just died, and one should have died but was cured a year ago. Is Lionel hitting on Martha? How did he get the company back? Couldn't Lionel have used his powers against Andrea? Did Lionel actually hire a guy to kill his parents, or just the building, and his parents happened to be there? Does he miss his mother, I doubt his father. Did he cause JK's death? Does he want to help the Kents? How does his hair go from Afro to bushy/curly? Is he trying to help Suicide Slum? Did he hire the hit on Andrea's mom? Why did his hair grow back so slow between S3 and S4, but when from buzz to afro? What's his deal w/ Dr.Swann? Why did I ask so many Questions? Because Lionel is so mysterious!

yes, will the real Lionel please stand up! Right now, he just seems like a wildcard that they will pull out whenever and however they want.

I think they (tptb) realize that he hasn't been doing anything for awhile and is confusing right now. I'm guessing that the, "thank you son" line is a hint that they're not just going to ignore Lionel's previous possession by Jor-el, and will clarify this all in the near future.

It would appear from that line that Lionel is aware of Jor-el, but is Lionel in complete control or is it a split personality? Or am I crazy?

I got it! Lionel is just adopting the traits of bi-polar Jor-El!

It's Professor Milton Fine's Brainiac in disguise all along!

That explains his back and forth, good/bad behavior and wait till James Marsters returns and morphs from Lionel into THE BRAIN!

You'll ALL be SORRY!!

The Writer's of Smallville have DONE IT AGAIN!!

KUDOS!!:D
