Did anyone else find the music in this episode to be very Batman like?

Yes. If I'm not mistaken it was actually music from the movies. Too bad it couldn't have been Bruce Wayne.

Yes, my only problem with this episode was that she felt like she had some Batman thrown in there.

I almost feel like they KNOW I want Bruce Wayne to show up so they'll just keep teasing me instead.

Thank God! I thought I was going crazy when I heard it.

I just smiled and thought that's from the Batman movies isn't it?

Except Bruce would have never killed...well Golden Age Bruce would've but that's a different story.

I hope they can bring Bruce on someday. That episode would be so awesome!

Oh I know Bruce would never kill, but I was feeling a Batman/Punisher vibe going on.

I definitely thought it was Batman music. Glad to know I wasn't just hearing things, hehe.

Yea it did. Plus did anyone catch like a Batman Begins line. You know the part where Bruce says "a guy dressed as a bat clearly has issues"(paraphased). Clark told Chloe Angel of Vengences "has issues".

They want bruce wayne there as well.

or they wouldn't have done it...

Warner Brothers Theatrical wouldn't allow it... and since DC comics is also a subsidiary of Time Warner... there isn't a source they could go to.. to appeal that decision.

Personally, Bruce Wayne meeting a young clark kent.. I think is very important to the overall developement... but, Short of a miracle.. it won't happen.

I thought this as well when watching the episode. :)
I think the combination of the dark streets of Metropolis (looked a lot like Gotham, but I guess any city has them) and the troubled good-guy (or girl in this case) wanting revenge for the murder of a parent really brought out the music for me.
Love the Batman movie theme and was excited to hear it!
And, yes, I'm one of the camp who would LOVE to see a young Bruce Wayne on Smallville, but try not to get my hopes up.

Yeah she was a refernce for both batman and superman, and the interaction of how they were its cool, but not as cool as the relationship Superman has with Batman on the new comics of SUPERMAN/BATMAN WORLD'S FINEST. They know what the other is thinking and they really care for each other, I love the way the comic its written, most of it its what they are thinking and how the read each other more than speaking.

Yeah it did remind me of Batman, and also Bruce Wayne's parents died while getting mugged, and she thought it was the same as well. Interesting how there were some similarities between the two.

Really now... When is this show going to quit with all the foreplay and AT LEAST mention the name Bruce Wayne. They've done the music, a Batman-ish character... c'mon already!

it is a shame that the powers that be can't get together to bring bruce wayne to smallville for even one show.

I know I am not up to date on all the information out there, but it's difficult to understand as a fan of both why they can't make it happen. Anything is always possible.

I'd like to see multi-billionaire bruce wayne and multi-billionaire lex luthor lock heads.....that would be great to!

good thing i wasn't the only one who thought it was batman music. Especially when she kept jumping from building to building to get to the top. The story was kind of batman-ish too. Her mom got killed by mugs so she decided to fight crime. Is she a D.C superhero? Or they did just make her up?

I think it's pretty clear that TPTB are still a little bitter that they haven't been able to get a guest appearance out of a young, or even older, Bruce Wayne. This "Vigilante" wasn't the first character to exhibit some of the Dark Knight's more charming personal traits.

It actually felt very Birds of Prey to me.

Let's not forget the "blind as a bat" line. Sure, it's a common phrase but it could be seen as taken from Batman Forever.
