Have you watched prior season episodes
since Reckoning?
I have been watching reruns on ABC family. Since Reckoning I can hardly stomach Clana. I used to like Clana but
now am definitely wanting Clark to move to Lois. Last night, I walked out of the room and didn't even finish watching the
episode. Does anyone else feel this way?

well, unfortunately for you, Clois is not going to happen in SV however, Clana doesn't bother me as much as seeing Jonathan on screen because he died in that episode.

I agree about seeing Jonanthon... it is very hard for me to watch the reruns now........
It's kind of hard to watch retuns just because the plot wasn't that developed, and it moved very slowly in season one, and the first half of season two.

It's funny, I was just thinking this yesterday while watching a rerun on ABC Family. Not because of Clana, but seeing JK is hard. It's weird, but it's like the reruns are not real? lol. That sounds strange considering the whole show isn't real, but anyway...I understand what you mean.

Yeah i find it kind of wierd.....the first rerun episode i saw after Reckoning was Relic and in that episode there is a moment when Jonathan is digging out his father's chest full of stuff. He turns to Clark and says "I haven't open this chest since the day my father died." To me that scene seems alot more emotional now, just having watched Reckoning.

Wow! You guys get way too emotional over a TV show.

I agree..It's hard to watch old eps because of JK. I cried so much during Reckoning it was almost embarrassing!

Relic is one of my favorite episodes and when the part where Jonathan goes and opens that old chest of his fathers I also felt sad.

I noticed that the old shows feel different too. I'm not really sure why though. JK was a HUGE part of the story up till now. Maybe it's because I know where its all going..........

Right after Reckoning, I felt like I didn't want to ever see another Clana episode - or even listen to another "Clana song" on the radio.
However, after watching Shattered last night, I realized that even though watching them has been painful through the years - with the ultimate knife in the heart during Reckoning - it really has been a great romance story. It's a tragic one, but still a romance in the grand sense of the word, and I think I can watch it again keeping in mind the whole arc of the romance (longing, toying, sacrificing, exploring, hurting, etc.).
What I mean is -- I think they have a very deep natural attraction and truly love each other, and that passionate feeling plays out in different ways, mostly painful unfortunately, but it's still there.
I'm looking forward to that "love" turning into a strong friendship before the series ends. A first love is not necessarily a true love, although it can be very intense and something you never forget.
And I'll really, really miss JK too.

I've never been a Clana fan, so the whole, "Lana remembers nothing...again," just really annoys me, and that's about it.
But, yes--I was watching Recruit last night, and it did feel different. Seeing JK and Clark talking about football and responsibility--it's sad to know those conversations are gone.
I think, in time, that feeling will pass. Even though I've kinda been preparing myself for his death (I don't think he's alive in the SR movie, either), it still hits hard.

Everyone whose upset about Jonathans death should go watch some re-runs of "The Dukes of Hazzard", it'll surely cheer you up and put a smile on your face. Yeeeeehawwww!

Reruns definetely aren't the same. Now every time I see Jonathan, I always know that he's going to die soon. I saw "Resurrection" and I thought it was weird how the doctor said that the next time Clark has a heart attack, it could be fatal.

More like a foreshadowing. All this hype of "who is going to die", but really it was just plan predictable.

I saw "Splinter" yesterday and it was funny when Martha warned Jonathan not to run in the Senate race because the stress could be bad for his heart.

I own the entire season up to this point on DVD, and I was just skimming through episodes last week. I love the one where Jonathan get's infected by the flower that gets rid of inhebitions. When he scrams at the bank person on the phone, I always chuckle. Also, when he's driving down the road hanging out of the truck, I can't help but laugh. Good times.

In "Solitude" Jonathan had a meaningful conversation with Clark about how no one was going to live forever.

Not to mention the death gong in Solitude too.

The death gong seemed to be in every episode. In "Forever" they said that if Clark went to college he'd only be able to come back for the funeral.

Poor Jonathan. I wonder if they tied that gong around Betsy's neck so everytime she bent her head to eat some grass when Jonathan was around it would go 'doing'

It is definitely different watching reruns knowing that JK is now dead. However, reruns are the only way I am going to get to see my favorite SV character-with the exception of an appearance in "Void".....
