Did you see AM face when during the convo about Lana? The pain that showed, esp when Clark mentioned proposing. It was some of the best acting ever. She is great showing emotions.

The Emotion Allison's Chloe displayed is one I believe of surprised disappointment. Reflected in her private thoughts, of the possibility, Clark may not follow her advise of telling Lana the truth AND proposing to her!

Chloe was surprised, when in the second time line, Clark cofirmed it when Chloe asked him how she reacted to his news of telling Lana!

Once again, Clark told no one else of Jor-El's time line reversal except her (Chloe)!

Chloe by all accounts in this Episode Reckoning is proven as the important and pivotal person in Clark's life as his "Best Friend" and Confidant!

And I am telling you that the hammer will fall on Chloe just as it has fallen on everyone else in the show. I have a feeling once Braniac gets back that Chloe will be in some trouble. She is getting away too easily. And I'm sorry, but now I'm a little disappointed with what has happened. While analyzing this episode, the only way Jonathan Kent's death can mean something is if Clark ends up with Lana. I thought this was a bogus death considering all of the other avenues they could've gone in.

Has anyone else noticed that all of Chloe and Clark's conversations are about Clark's problems with Lana? I mean come on, that's all he ever talks about with Chloe anymore. That's gotta be pretty hard on her considering how she feels about him.

Absolutely. And the fact that in the second chance Clark tells Chloe he proposed to Lana, and what was the first thing she said? "What was my reaction?" While I feel sympathy for Chloe, at the same time she is strong enough to recognize the raw facts of the situation. She still feels for Clark, she is still near him, just not close to him. Chloe is, and will always be, Supergirl.

Yeah, but if she was real, than she would be worthy of feeling bad for...

I definitely saw the pain in her eyes...played wonderfully!! It was one of those "Clark, why would you tell her that?" moments!!

I think Chloe has kind of moved on in terms of her feelings for Clark. Its been awhile since he told her its not gonna happen and I think shes accepted in and taken on more of the good friend role.. She is there to help him with his problems.

And in terms of this thread, he may only come to her with his problems, but listening to him is the least she can do concidering the hundreds of times hes been there to save her life.

Because Clark is simply and BDA IDOT and he IS suffering for it justly ALL because of the Lana Factor!

He can not see any one elses hurt particularly his Best Friend for Lana!

This could be a vicious cycle, considering there might be some of Clark left in Chloe's heart.

She is closer to Clark than Lana is in every respect, except for the SEX!

It's funny how Chloe is always there for him and listens to his problems but yet he doesn't give her a chance at all.

Yes, Chloe listens to Clark, but Clark will never ever listen AND give her a chance....never....THE BDA!

Clark has been blinded to Chloe's feelings from the start... They were even there in the pilot, if you look closely enough. She has laid out her heart, friendship, honor, trust, and most recently... faithfulness to his secret. But he continues to treat her as a BDA will, now seemingly only going to her when he "needs" something, whether it be information or advice or whatever. Rarely has he ever invited her to the 'loft' just to talk & be friends -- not even any references to that. But our "doormat" Chloe still retains that grace & faithfulness that we love her for, and we certainly notice it, Chloe (or Allison), whether brain-dead Clark does or not. :)

Chloe is not at this point, nor ever will be, deserved of the BDA -- Don't lower your standards, Chloe -- EVER!!!! THIS Clark isn't worth it. :(

chloe is his trusty sidekick now. i wish they had more episodes concentrating on her. she's been degraded to the level of a friend for clark and nothing else.

That is why I am looking forward to Tomb. I hope we get some background on Chloe's mom. AM is sure to shine. Hopefully it will be what Splinter was to Tom and Shattered was for Michael.:)

though chloe's role has been reduced somewhat AM has done an awesome job with what screen time she does have.. tomb is going to be a great episode and AM totally deserves to have an episode all to herself

I may be wrong, but I'm expecting a Clark and Chloe relationship here in the up coming weeks. I just have that feeling that Clark is going to relize that Chloe is the right one for him(I'm not saying she is), and since she already knows his secret he doesn't have that burden of telling her on his shoulders. The relationships is going well until sometime near the end of the season when Chloe is killed. I don't know, but I just have that feeling that this is the way it is going to play out.

Poor Chloe? Poor Chloe? You must be kidding. In an episode where Martha lost her husband, Clark lost his dad and basically Lana, where Lana basically lost Clark, it's poor chloe?

We gotta stop agreeing like this ;)

Personally as long as Chloe keeps letting him dump his problems on her then I really can't feel sorry for her cause she's allowing him to do it.

She is being a good friend, but even good friends are supposed to know when to draw the line.

I think everybody has to feel bad for Chloe. She is by far the most admirable character on the show.

To be honest I was really rooting for Lana to die. JK's death is emotional but its not going to change the show in a meaningful way.

I get the feeling I'm supposed to be rooting for Clark and Lana to end up together though. Maybe its because I haven't seen any of the early seasons, but they never seem to give us a reason to cheer for that relationship. We are constantly told that Clark loves Lana but we are never shown why.

I don't think that Chloe was surprised that Clark proposed to Lana I think she was more surprised that he told her the secret and then immediately proposed.
