Anyone still watch this show? It's on TV Land every night, and I just love it. It's so funny to think about how different life must have been back then-- and to realize that the Cleavers were the typical TV family back then. June with her ever-present pearls and high heels, Ward always wearing a suit and tie, Wally and "the Beaver" always well-dressed and properly groomed... Only one telephone in the house... And Wally bought a car for $25 once... And this line was said by June tonight:
"Why, Wally, I don't understand why any of your friends wouldn't be happy to earn fifty cents an hour babysitting. I guess times have changed."
Hee!
Also, I confess that I find Eddie Haskell VERY attractive... He sort of reminds me of an extra-jokey Ryan Phillippe. And, for a complete doofus, that Wally's not bad either. ;)

I don't have cable or sattelite, but I've watched this show once at my grandparent's house. It was funny.

YAY! Someone finally wrote in my "LItB" thread!!! :) So you thought it was funny as in, "Hee hee, this is funny!" or funny as in, "Man, this is so dorky it's funny!"? :) Hehe. I laugh at the laugh track going off all the time, how the kids treat the adults, how the adults treat the kids, and the insults the kids use to each other. How refreshing... I can't even imagine stuff like that being "prime-time entertainment" when you see the kind of stuff that's on today!!! Heh.

As in "Hee, Hee, this is funny" That kind. It wasn't dorky. At least not the one I saw. I've only seen one. But my mom has talked about watching this show when she was younger. She liked it too.

This is 1 of my favorite shows.I actually grew up in a time that was closer to this show then today. When i was a kid things were still very cheap-i remember cuttin lawns in the 60s when gas was 29 cents a gallon lol.Eddie and Lumpy were great. There was a beach ep where Eddie is wearing a big straw hat and playing the bongos.I liked when Lumpys dad would brag about how great his son Clearance was and then hed do somethin to screw up and hed yell "U big boob".1 good 1 is where Wally,Eddie and Lumpy take Beav to an amusement park and hes all scared of this big ride and Eddies making fun of him-then on the ride Beaver is fine and Eddies scared to death!lol
