anyone else notice the scene when clarked looked to the building lana was in, was the same scene used in hidden when he looked at the missle? i thought something was out of place when i saw the yellow tractor in the background

I'm glad I'm not the only who noticed that scene.

Yeah, they definitely re-used that one shot. Kinda curious, but I'd guess that the on-set stuff just didn't fit or some knucklehead on the crew was eating a sandwich in the background or something and they had to recycle from Hidden.

I missed that. I'll have to watch it again. Oh, well, I was planning to anyway.

Two scenes that come to mind are:
1. yes, the Hidden episode scene as Clark gazes toward the missle silo in the background is the yellow tractor!
2. the warehouse scene is a reshot of the Florida hideaway of the bomb specialist played by Sylvester Stallone in the movie "The Speicalist also starry starring Sharon Stone.
The entire scene had the elevated trains and tall building in the the backdrop!

Oh cool, It's really from The Specialist? I'll have to check out the comparison. :)

This scene may very well be ripped right out of the specialist, but I think the original intent of the thread was to point out that the shot of Clark looking off towards the building, just before he runs in and saves Lana is pulled directly from Hidden, when he is brought back, then runs back to Smallville, and looks off towards the just-launced rocket. Not a similar shot, but the SAME shot. I noticed this too, and it just seemed curious.

I thought the same thing. Reason why I noticed it because since "Hidden" Tom looks to have a trim on hair. The hair is at different lengths. So when they showed that face shot his hair looked to long lol. They could have easily superimposed the backdrop behind him to make it look like he was at the warehouse setting. We are going to have to wait for screencaps to know for sure.
ETA: My friend Derek and I checked the screecaps it's the same shot. Even the background is the same and expression is the same too a tee.

Speaking of reused scenes, is it just me or is Lana's car similar to what Lois drove in season 4? Lana used to drive a Jeep Liberty in season 3 and Lois drove the red GMC Envoy. Now, Lana is driving that red Envoy and Lois has that new car she bought in Solitude.

I wondered about the car elsewhere, but Lana's car that's in Lockdown and Reckoning appears to be a maroon Jeep Grand Cherokee, which is different from the last time I remember her driving, when she had the same maroon Jeep Liberty from season 3 on. I was curious as to when she changed cars, but I don't think this one is the same car that Lois was driving.

Yeah, I noticed that when it aired, and now I just compared the scenes side by side and they are i-dentical.
This is interesting, but not the first time. In Ryan Clark runs to find the Brain Surgeon he thinks can help Ryan. that scene was then reused in Extinction when Clark runs to save Lex.
I gues that superspeed shot makes sense, but why reuse a close-up face shot? Its weird, but like I said, interesting.:D

They seem to be reusing a lot of shots from old episodes. In "Solitude" they reused the scene where Clark pulled out a crystal.
